ICFAI University Sikkim announces Admission to BA-LL.B (Hons.), BBA-LL.B (Hons.) and LL.B Program 2022

 

ICFAI University Sikkim Law Courses Admission 2022 – ICFAI University, Sikkim invites applications for admission to 5-years full-time BA-LL.B (Hons.),  BBA-LL.B (Hons.) and  3 year full-time LL.B Programs for the academic year 2022.

Important Dates

  • Last date for submission of duly completed Application Form along with Admission Fees & release of Provisional Admission Letters : August 20, 2022
  • Registration with scrutiny of original certificates & Payment of First Semester Fee : August 24, 2022
  • Commencement of Classes : August 29, 2022

 

Eligibility Criteria

For BBA-LL.B (Hons.) 

  • Pass in 10+2 (any discipline) with 50% and above aggregate marks. Scores of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and the ICFAI Law School Admission Test (ILSAT) will be given weightage. Students appearing for final examinations and awaiting results are also eligible for admission.
  • Applicants should not be more than 20 years of age as on the day of commencement of the program, ie., July 25, 2022. Note: Age restriction for Law Programs can be relaxed as per BCI guidelines.

For BA-LL.B (Hons.)

  • Pass in 10+2 (any discipline) with 50% and above aggregate marks. Scores of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and the ICFAI Law School Admission Test (ILSAT) will be given weightage. Students appearing for final examinations and awaiting results are also eligible for admission.
  • Applicants should not be more than 21 years of age as on the day of commencement of the program, ie., August 30, 2022.

For LLB

  • Pass with 50% and above aggregate marks in Graduation or equivalent (in any discipline). Students awaiting final year examination results are also eligible for admission.
  • Age limit for LL.B Program is 30 years, as on the day of the commencement of Semester I.

Application Fee

  • Application Fee : Rs. 3000/-
  • Mode of Payment : Demand Draft in favor of The ICFAI University, Sikkim-Fee Collection A/c payable at Gangtok.

 

Selection Procedure

  • The selection of applicants into the UG/PG programs of the University is subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria made through screening of the applications.
  • Due weightage is given to academic distinction, honors and awards in sports, cultural events, extra-curricular activities viz debates, quizzes and adventure sports.
  • All applicants meeting the selection criteria will be given a provisional admission subject to verification of the documents at the time of registration and payment of fee.
