ICFAI University Dehradun Admission 2024 – The ICFAI University, Dehradun invites applications for admission to Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate Programs (PG) & Doctoral Programs (PhD) Programmes for the academic year 2024. The University was established through an Act of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand and is recognized by UGC. The ICFAI University, Dehradun is sponsored by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (Icfai), a non-profit educational society established in 1984 under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Public Societies Registration Act with the objective of imparting training in finance and management to students, working executives and professionals in India. Eligibility Criteria
For UG :
- All UG : Pass in Class XII or equivalent (concerned discipline) with 50% and above aggregate marks.
- BEd : Pass in Graduation / Post Graduation (Sciences / Social Sciences / Humanities disciplines) with 50% and above aggregate marks.
- LLB : Pass in Graduation / Post Graduation (Sciences / Social Sciences / Humanities disciplines) with 50% and above aggregate marks.
For PG:
- All PG : A Bachelor degree in Concerned discipline from a recognized Indian University, having secured a minimum of 50% aggregate are eligible to apply.
- LLM : A Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University, having secured a minimum of 50% aggregate are eligible to apply.
For PhD:
- 1 year/2 year master degree program with 55% marks in 4 year/ 3 year bachelor degree program respectively. OR
- 4 year bachelor degree program with at least 75% marks in aggregate.

Application Procedure
- Online Application: Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at www.iudehradun.edu.in and make payment of Rs.500 towards the cost using Credit / Debit Card (Visa / Master Card / Internet Banking) through secure internet payment gateway
- Download of Application Form: Applicants can fill their details online and download the Application Form from www.iudehradun.edu.in and send it to the Admissions Office along with the Demand Draft.
Admission Procedure
For UG/PG
- The Admission is based on Merit and Personal Interview.
For PhD
- Admission to the Ph.D. program (both formats) is based on Academic Record, Performance in the Entrance Test and Interview. Candidates with valid NET/ SLET/GATE qualified are exempted from the Entrance Test The test paper for each School will be of objective type, to be attempted in 2 hours.
- The first part of the paper consists of Analytical reasoning & Research Methodology (20 marks).
- The second part of the paper shall be based on the discipline selected by the candidate.
