ACPC Gujarat announces Admission to MBA, MCA and MCA Lateral Entry Program 2019-20

ACPC Gujarat MBA and MCA Admission 2019 – Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) will release notification from the eligible candidates for admission in first year of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Application (MCA) and MCA Lateral Entry (Direct Second Year) in Government, Grant-in aid and Self Financed Institutes in Gujarat State on State quota of all institutions and management quota surrendered seats of self financed institutes, Government of Gujarat has decided to carry out web based online admission process for the academic year 2019-20.

Seats Available for Admission.

  • For the purpose of admission to the first year of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses, available seats shall include-

 

Government Seats:

  • All the sanctioned seats of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course in the Government Colleges or Institutions of the State; All the sanctioned seats of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course in the aided Colleges or Institutions; 75% of the total sanctioned seats of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course in the unaided Colleges or Institutions, and; All supernumerary seats of the professional courses in the Government colleges or institutions and in the aided and unaided Colleges or Institutions.

 

Management Seats:

  • 25% seats of the total sanctioned seats of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course in the unaided Colleges or Institutions, including fifteen percent Non-Resident Indian (NRI) seats; The intimation received, in respect of sanction of seats, by the Admission Committee three days prior to the commencement of the first counseling program, shall be considered as available seats,
  • The unaided college or institution shall fill up the Management Seats up to 5 % of the sanctioned intake from the students of the out of the State, on the basis of CMAT of corresponding year and inter-se merit prepared in accordance with the provisions of rule 11  irrespective of whether such candidate has applied to the admission

Eligibility Criteria for ACPC Gujarat MBA and MCA Admission 2019 

  • For the purpose of admission, a candidate shall have appeared in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) as prescribed by AICTE, for the corresponding year.
  • A candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination with minimum of 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ ST/SEBC/EWS category candidates) from-
  1. a University situated in the Gujarat State; or
  2. a University situated outside the Gujarat State provided that the candidate shall have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Standard XII, 10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination from,-

(i) The Gujarat Board; or

(ii) The Central Board of Secondary Education: Provided that,-

  1. The school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the State of Gujarat; or
  2. The school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the Union Territories of Daman and Diu or Dadra and Nagar Haveli; or

(III) The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi: Provided that,-

  1. The school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the State of Gujarat; or
  2. The school, in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the Union Territories of Daman and Diu or Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
  • Subject to the provisions of sub-rules (1) and (2), a candidate who has appeared in the final year of Bachelor’s Degree examination shall also be eligible to apply provided that he shall have passed the qualifying examination with 50% marks (45% marks in case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, SEBC and EWS candidates ) at the time of admission.

 

Explanation

  • 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/SEBC/EWS category candidates) shall be computed on the basis of grand total or, cumulative grade point average as shown in the final year mark sheet of the University In case of grade points, the candidate shall be required to produce equivalence percentage certificate from the University.
  • Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules, admission to the Master of Business Administration course in –
  • Nirma University established under the Nirma University Act, 2003 (Guj. 10 of 2003) shall be granted on the basis of merit order obtained in the Common Admission Test ( CAT) conducted by the Indian Institute of Management.
  • The Pandit Deendayal University established under the Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University Act, 2007 (Guj. 14 of 2007) shall be granted on the basis of merit order obtained in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institute of Management; and
  • Amrut Modi School of Management, Ahmedabad, a constituent college of the Ahmedabad University established under the Ahmedabad University Act, 2009 (Guj. 08 of 2009) shall be

 

Reservation of Seats

  • For the purpose of admission, the seats shall be reserved for the candidates who are of Gujarat origin and falling under the following categories and in following proportion, namely:
  • Scheduled Castes: 7 %
  • Scheduled Tribes: 15%
  • Socially and Educationally Backward Classes: 27% including Widows and orphan of any caste
  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS: 10%
  • A candidate seeking admission on reserved seat shall be required to produce a certificate of inclusion in the concerned category: Provided that the candidate belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes shall be required to produce a certificate to the effect of non-inclusion in Creamy Layer in addition to the caste certificate.

ACPC Gujarat MBA and MCA Admission 2019 Application Process

  • For online registration, candidate should visit website www.gujacpc.nic.in during 26-06-2019 to 02-07-2019.
  • The candidate can get the PIN Cover for MBA or MCA by paying Rs. 350/- and for MBC (for MBA & MCA Both) by paying RS. 500/- in cash from the designated branches of ICICI Bank (as per the Bank Branch list available on site www.jacpcldce.ac.in tab MBA/MCA) during banking hours (except holidays) from 25th June, 2019 to 1st July, 2019.
  • Candidate should enter his/her CMAT Roll No. of CMAT 2019. Please note that after 02-07-2019, candidate will not be allowed to register online. Candidate who purchase MBC PIN, can register for both MBA-MCA at the same time. Candidate does not require to register for MBA-MCA course separately.
  • After online registration, candidate has to submit print-out of registration form and self attested photo copies of the required documents at nearby Help Centre and get acknowledgement slip, on or before 02-07-2019 up to 05:00 p.m.
  • Candidate has to bring required original documents for verification. List of designated help centers is also available on website www.jacpcldce.ac.in. MBA-MCA tab. Documents verification for each and every candidate is necessary. Without document verification candidate’s registration can not be confirmed/ completed.
