UID Ahmedabad Entrance Exam 2022 – United World Institute of Design will conduct UID Entrance Exam 2022 on 30th January 2022 for admissions across various Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) and Master of Design (M.Des.) . Programs offered at the Institute.


Admission to both the degrees will be offered on the basis of candidates’ performance in UID entrance exam 2022

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates can go through the eligibility criteria for UID Aptitude Test 2022 for Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Master of Design (MDes) courses below.
  1. Design Regular/GDP/Integrated Masters
  • 10+2 pass/appearing (Any Stream), with a minimum 50% aggregate score from any recognized higher secondary school board. 
  •  Clearance of UID’s Two Tier Evaluation Process

  • 10+2+3/4 pass/appearing (Any Stream) with minimum 50% aggregate score from any recognized institution or university.

Application Procedure

  • Aspirants need to clear UID Aptitude Test 2022 in order to secure admissions in design programs offered at United world Institute of Design.
  • Step 1 – Fill UID Aptitude Test Application Form. Applicants are advised to download the application form from the official website of karnavatiuniversity.edu.in
  • Step 2 – Download UID Aptitude Test Admit Card
  • Step 3 – Give UID Aptitude Test
  • Step 4 – Appear for Studio Test
  • Step 5 – Take Part in Professional Interview Round
  • Step 6 – Check Result. Next, candidates need to check the result for UID Aptitude Test 2021 on the official website of the design school.
  • Step 7 – Appear for UID Counselling Process

Fee Structure per semester

  • B. Design Regular: 2,50,000/-
  • B. Design GDP: 3,75,000/-
  • Integrated Masters: 2,50,000/-
  • M.Design: 2,25,000/-

Application Fee

  • The form fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The UID application form fee is 2000/- for every candidate irrespective of caste, gender, and religion.

Exam Pattern

  • The UID Design Aptitude Test is organized in offline mode and it takes two and a half hours to complete the exam. The exam will be held in the month of January and the total number of marks awarded will be100.
  • Mode: UID Design Aptitude Test 2022 is carried out offline, i.e. PBT (Paper and Pen-based Test).
  • Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) will be asked in the question paper.
  • Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes) will be the time given to finish the examination.
  • Marking Scheme: For every right answer one mark will be awarded and there is no provision of negative markings
  • Medium: The language of the question paper will be English.
  • Exam Mode: Offline i.e. Paper and Pen-based Test (PBT)
  • UG Pattern: General IQ Test; Critical Analysis Test; Critical Ability Test; Creative Analysis Test
  • PG Pattern: Critical Analysis Test; Critical Ability Test; Creative Analysis Test
