AP POLYCET 2020 - The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada will conduct "Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET)"  on April 28, 2020 for the candidates seeking admission into all Diploma Courses in Engineering /Non-Engineering/Technology offered at Polytechnics /institutions in State of Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2020-21

AP POLYCET 2020

POLYCET is a Polytechnic common entrance test conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh for admission into Diploma level programs conducted in Government, Aided, Private, Un-aided Polytechnics and Second Shift Polytechnics run in existing Private un-aided Engineering Colleges

Every candidate desirous of seeking admission into Engineering/Non-Engineering Diploma course can apply for POLYCET-2020 through online. No separate application form for admission is prescribed. The filled-in application for POLYCET-2020 itself is an application for admission.

For admission into the Diploma Courses like Hotel Management and Catering Technology, D. Pharmacy, the entry qualification is 10 + 2 or 12th Standard.

These candidates need not appear for POLYCET-2020 for admission into the said courses. A separate notification will be issued for admission to the said Diploma Courses.

Eligibility Criteria for AP POLYCET 2020

Nationality

Candidates must be Indian citizens.

Domicile

Candidates should belong to Andhra Pradesh or should have passed from the schools located in AP.

Qualifications

Students must have passed SSC exam/class 10 conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.

Those belonging to NIOS/CBSE/ICSE/ or equivalent exams recognized by the A.P. government can also apply.

Candidates must pass all subjects including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with minimum 35% marks in each subject.

Students appearing are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2020.

AP POLYCET 2020 Admit Card

No candidate will be allowed with incorrect data and photo on the Hall ticket to appear for the Examination.

In case the candidate does not receive the Hall ticket, he/she may obtain the same through the internet from the Websites https://polycetap.nic.in or contact personally in any help line centers.

Hall tickets are not transferable. Any tampering of Hall Ticket will automatically lead to the disqualification of the Candidate.

Hall ticket is an important document and shall be preserved carefully after the examination till the admission into Polytechnics is completed.
