Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education announces Teacher Eligibility Test (HPTET) 2019  June

HPTET 2019 Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test - Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released the HPTET 2019 notification and application for June Exam 2019. Online application for Himachal Pradesh TET can be filled at hpbose.org till 27th May 2019.

HP TET 2019 is the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test, which is the state level teacher eligibility test to determine eligibility of teachers for TGT (Arts / Non-Medical / Medical), Shastri, LT, JBT, Punjabi, Urdu subjects.

TET Teaching Category

Teacher Eligibility Test TET shall be conducted for the following teaching categories:

  1. TGT (Arts)
  2. TGT(NM)
  3. TGT(Medical)
  4. Shastri
  5. Language Teacher
  6. JBT
  7. Punjabi
  8. Urdu

Note: In case an applicant intends to appear in TET for more than one teaching category he/she shall have to submit separate online application and fee for each category

  4. Period for online corrections in Particulars {No correction will be allowed in any particulars after this date}: 28th May 2019 to 29th May 2019 (Till 11:59 PM)

Eligibility Criteria for HPTET 2019

TGT (Arts)

  1. B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
  2. B.A./B.Com. with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed. upto 30th Aug. 2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.08.2009) 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
  3. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed.) OR
  4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A.Ed. OR
  5. B.A./13.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education)

 

TGT (Non-Medical)

  1. B.Sc. (NM) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
  2. B.Sc. (NM) with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed. upto 30.08.2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.08.2009) 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
  3. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed.) OR

  1. B.Sc. (Medical) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR

(Medical) with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed. upto 30.08.2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.08.2009) 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
  3. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed.) OR

Shastri

  1. Shastri with at least 50% marks from an institution/University recognized by H.P. Government

 

Language Teacher

  1. B.A. with Hindi as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whichever name known) OR
  2. BA with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
  3. BA with at least 45% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
  4. BA with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education OR
  5. Prabhakar (Honours in Hindi) with 50% marks followed by B.A. Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

 

Junior Basic Training (JBT)

  1. 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized Board/University and should possess two years JBT certificate course from an institute duly recognized by.the Central State Govt. OR
  2. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
  3. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
  4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed). OR
  5. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education) OR Graduation and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

 

Punjabi Language Teacher

  1. B.A. with Punjabi as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
  2. BA with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
  3. BA with at least 45% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
  4. BA with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education

 

Urdu Language Teacher

  1. B.A. with Urdu as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in, Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
  2. b) BA with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
  3. BA with at least 45% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
  4. BA with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education OR
  5. B.T. with 50% marks followed by B.A. Examination (English & one additional subject with 50%marks from a recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

 

Relaxations

  1. Relaxation upto 5% in minimum educational qualification and also in minimum qualifying marks for TET to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PITH categories of Himachal Pradesh.
  2. Candidates pursuing any of the teacher Education Programme in its final year (recognized by NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the Gazette of India notification dated 25th August 2010 are eligible for appearing in the TET examination.

HPTET 2019 Exam Pattern

  1. There shall be one question paper in four different series having questions of multiple choice/ objective type, carrying 150 questions of one mark each to be attempted within 150 minutes. There shall be 60% minimum qualifying marks.
  2. There shall be no negative marking.
  3. A candidate shall have to choose the correct answer and shade against the appropriate choice in the OMR response sheet with blue/black ball point pen adhering to the instructions provided.
  4. As the answers will be given with blue/black ball point pen by darkening the appropriate circle, the candidates will have no option, to change the answers once given. Therefore, before darkening the circle, correct option/answer may be ensured.

 

Validity

  1. The TET qualifying certificate would remain valid for appointment for 7 years from the date of issuance of TET certificate. There will be no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a TET certificate.
  2. A person who has qualified TET may also appear again for improving his/her score

 

Age Limit

  1. There is no upper age limit to apply for the TET. The age criteria are to be considered by the appointing authority at the time of appointment as per R&P Rules.

Language of Questions Paper

  1. The question booklet will be set and supplied in bilingual i.e. both in English and Hindi. The question papers for Shastri will be partly in Sanskrit and partly in Hindi, Punjabi/Urdu Language Teacher will be in. Punjabi/Urdu/English only

 

HPTET 2019 Admit Card

  1. The Admit Card shall be issued only to those candidates who have submitted their Application Form complete in all respects within the stipulated time frame and who fulfils the minimum eligibility criteria laid down for the purpose
  2. Admit Card is not transferable to any other person. Impersonation is legally punishable/cognizable offence
  3. The Admit Card will contain your name, roll number, photograph, signature of the candidate, address of the examination centre and test schedule
  4. The Admit Card once received by the candidate should be carefully gone through and discrepancy, if any, should immediately be brought to the notice of the Board
  5. No candidate will be allowed to enter in the Examination Hall without a valid Admit Card
  6. Application form without online shall not be considered and no Admit card shall be issued to such candidates.

HPTET 2019 Application Process

  1. Candidates can apply online for Teacher Eligibility Test - June 2019 on the Board website www.hpbose.org
  2. Please ensure your eligibility as per the criteria laid down for Teacher Eligibility Test - June 2019 in the Prospectus uploaded on the Board Website.
  3. Candidate should enter his/her particulars i.e. Name, Father Name, Mother Name & Date of Birth as per his/her Secondary Education Board Class X Certificate.
  4. Please read the instructions and proceed carefully before you start filling the online application form. Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Prospectus and on the Board website.

 

Exam Fee

    • Examination Fee is Rs. 800/- for General and its Sub-Categories (except PHH) and Rs. 500/- for OBC/ST/SC/PHH Categories.
    • Candidates can apply online on Board Website from 07-05-2019 to 27-05-2019. No application will be entertained thereafter.
    • Information regarding the applications of candidates received with fees will be uploaded on the Board’s website www.hpbose.org. The candidates can check their Application for candidature and candidate particulars on the website. The candidature of the candidate, who’s fees has not been received by this Board, will not be considered for the TET-JUNE 2019 examination.
    • The Admit Cards will be uploaded on the Board website. The Candidates will be able to download/print the Admit Cards for entrance to Examination Centre. The Admit Card will not be sent to Candidates separately by post.
    • Candidate is allowed to submit only one Application Form against same subject. Multiple Applications for same subject of a candidate are liable to be rejected.
    • Application Forms through fax/post shall not be entertained and Board does not take responsibility to inform such candidates.
    • The applicants are strongly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for the last date of submission of online application.
    • Candidate has to pay examination fee through online payment mode using Credit Card or Debit Card only.
