Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) has released the notification for Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) 2020 for entry into the first year of the following Undergraduate Professional Courses in the Universities & Private Professional Colleges in the State of Telangana. Candidates can apply online from February 21 to March 30, 2020.

Eligibility Criteria for TS EAMCET 2020


The nationality criterion is the same for both E and A.M.  streams and is as follows:


Candidate should either be from Telangana or Andhra Pradesh


Citizen of India or Person of Indian Origin (POI) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)

Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Stream

Age Limit

If a candidate is applying for engineering or pharmacy subjects then a candidate should be upto or above 16 years of age, as on the date commencement of admission.

For B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FT) and B.Sc. (CA & BM) Courses – the minimum age limit is 17 year, as on December 31 of the admission year. The upper age limit is 22 years but only for SC / ST candidates it is 25 years.

For Pharm-D Course the minimum age bar is 17 years, as on December 31 of admission year.

Education Criteria

Any of the following options may be satisfied

Candidates should have passed class 10+2 passed or appearing candidates with maths, physics and chemistry (optional).

Should have qualified related vocational courses in Engineering & Technology. It should have been done from a board of intermediate education of TS or AP. Along with this, candidates must have also done a bridge course.

Candidates must have qualified for the final year Diploma exam in Engineering. The Diploma has to be conducted by the state board of technical education and training or any other board recognized by TS / AP.

Eligibility Criteria for Agriculture & Medical Stream

Age Limit

Candidate should be of minimum 17 and maximum 25 years of age, as on December 31 of admission year.

An applicant should have passed the final year of 10+2, from a recognized board. The subjects in the intermediate exam should have been:

TS EAMCET 2020 Exam Pattern

The exam is 180 minutes, i.e. 3 hours.

Mode of Exam

Telangana EAMCET is only held in computer based mode.

Language of Exam

The question paper is bilingual and is available in:


English and Telugu


English and Urdu


Engineering paper has sections for physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Whereas, sections in Agriculture and Medical paper are for physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology.


The total numbers of questions in the exam are 160 and these are asked in multiple choice format.

Marking Scheme

+1 mark for the correct answer. No mark is deducted for choosing incorrect response.

TS EAMCET 2020 Application Process

The given steps can be followed by the candidates to fill the TS EAMCET 2020 application form.


The Registration Process of TS EAMCET 2020 will start from 21st February 2020.


Candidates can fill the application form by online mode by visiting the website www.eamcet.tsche.ac.in


The application form can also be filled by the students by visiting the nearest TS online centre.


Last date to submit the application form is till 31st March 2020.


The board will also provide one time correction opportunity to the candidates to correct mistakes in the application form.


Applying candidates have to submit only one application form. The board will reject multiple application forms.
