Ambedkar University, Srikakulam has announced notification for admissions into M.Sc., M.A., M.Com., M.H.R.M., M.J.M.C., M.L.ISc., M.P.Ed., M.Ed., M.Tech, M.Sc 5-Year Integrated Course in Geology and M.A. 5-Year Integrated Course in Economics, through AUCET-2017

AUCET-2017 is an Andhra University Common Entrance Test conducted by Andhra Pradesh for admission into Science, Arts, Eng. & Law Courses offered in Campus Colleges of Andhra University (AU), Visakhapatnam, Dr B.R Ambedkar University (BRAU), Srikakulam, PG Centres, and Colleges affiliated to AU & BRAU offering PG Courses for the academic year 2017-18

M.Sc., M.A., M.Com, M.H.R.M., M.J.M.C., M.L.ISc., M.P.Ed., M.Ed., M. Tech, M.Sc. 5-Year Integrated Course in Geology and M.A. 5-Year Integrated Course in Economics, through AUCET-2017

5-Year Integrated Dual Degree Programmes B. Tech. + M. Tech/M.B.A. Courses in CSSE, Computer Science & Networking, Civil, Mechanical, EEE, ECE, Chemical, Instrumentation Technology and Twining Programmes
(B.Eng. Aircraft Eng & B. Tech Electronics Mechanical/Chemical/Electronics through AUEET-2017)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates from other recognised Universities are considered for admission into PG Arts and Science courses only if they possess a three-year Bachelor Degree of 10+2+3 or 12+3 or 11+1+3 pattern, with the prescribed minimum percentage of marks, unless otherwise specified

Candidates who acquired Bachelor Degree by Distance Education without 10+2+3 pattern are also eligible for admission into P.G. Courses, subject to submission of residence certificate

Candidates must be Bachelor Degrees of BA/B.Sc/B.Com/B.A.Litt and the respective Universities should recognise B.L from Universities other than AP as equivalent thereto
The requirement for admission into all Science and Engineering Courses offered by these universities is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Group Subjects (Part II) of the qualifying exam unless or otherwise specified. For SC & ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in-group subjects (Part II) is sufficient

The requirement for Arts, Commerce and Law courses is generally a pass in the appropriate qualifying degree, except for M.Sc. Anthropology for which the requirement is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in-group subjects (Part-II) in the qualifying exam and for SC& ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the group subjects. The requirement for M.Ed. Course is a pass with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC & ST Candidates)

Candidates who have already passed their qualifying degree examination or who have appeared / are appearing for the final exam in 2017 only are eligible for AUCET-2017

Age Limit

There is no age restriction for AUCET (Self Financing). However maximum eligible age for obtaining a Fee Reimbursement in respect of SC/ST and BC IS 34 Years and in respect of EBC / Minorities/Disabled id 30 Years

Selection Procedure

1. Based on the merit in the entrance test
2. Admission into of college depends on it Recognition/Affiliation by the statutory bodies and option of the college exercised in counselling
3. Rule of reservation
4. Admission to 85% of seats shall be reserved for local candidates and 15% of the seats shall be left unreserved of specified in the AP Educational Institution order 1974 as amended

Exam Pattern for AUCET 2017

All interested and eligible candidates are instructed to go through the important highlights associated with AUCET 2017 exam pattern:
i. Total number of questions will be 100 and candidates will get 90 minutes to solve those questions
ii. Every question will contain four alternatives among which they need to mark the right answer
iii. Candidates are required to mark the appropriate answer of questions in OMR sheet only
iv. They are not allowed to mark the answer on the test booklet

Syllabus for AUCET 2017

AUCET paper consists of 90 questions, which are three parts. Part A contains 40 questions, Part B contains 30 questions and Part C contains 20 questions. Each correct answer carries one mark while every wrong answer will have a dedication of 1/4 mark

Test Centres for AUCET 2017

The candidate should fill the name of one exam centre where she wants to appear in the test. Candidates applying more than one test are advised to opt for the same centre as there is a likelihood of clash of dates and timings
Requests for change of test centre and subject opted by the candidate in the application form will not be considered under any circumstances
AUCET-2017 will be conducted at the following Test Centres: Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Bhimavaram, Vijayawada, Guntur and Amalapuram

Rank Card for AUCET 2017

All candidates appeared for the Entrance Test will be awarded AUCET-2017 test-wise Ranks as per marks secured in the test appeared. In case of a tie between candidates securing the same mark in a test, the order of merit will be decided on the basis of date of birth of the candidate with priority to older candidate
Candidate has to download Rank Card from the website only; there is no provision for revaluation or personal verification of the answer sheet

How to Apply

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into various Arts, Science Engineering and Law courses for the academic year 2017-18, offered by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam & Dr.B.R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam, and Etcherla

Eligible candidates may submit their applications through online mode only; for online submission, visit the website or
Application Registration and Processing Fee of Rs.600/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PHC) may be paid through SBI I-Collect/Andhra Bank (billdesk)/ Payment Gateway (credit/debit card)
Registration and Application Processing Fee (and late fee if applicable) by opting any of the following modes of payments:
(a) Andhra Bank/State Bank of India Challan
(b)Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking
After filling the online Application Form with the required details, verify all the details carefully and press Submit button
Filled in Application Form will be generated that contains Application number along with filled details. Take print out of filled in Online Application Form. Use the Application number for future correspondence until the admission process is completed
The respective Universities will make information regarding college wise, course wise, reservation category wise seat distribution, and fee structure available after declaration of AUCET-2017 results on the respective websites or
