Eligibility Criteria for TANCA 2020

  • Candidates applying for TANCA must fulfil the mentioned below eligibility criteria:
  • Native - Candidates must be a domicile of Tamil Nadu. If a candidate has studied for 5 years (12th onwards) in Tamil Nadu, is also considered as Tamil Nadu candidate.

Education Qualification

The candidate who has completed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent field with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 45% in case of a reserved category can apply for TANCA.

Candidates must have appeared for any 1 of the Entrance Exams mentioned below:

TANCET 2020

2.

GATE 2018 / 2019 / 2020 in the discipline of Engineering / Technology

3.

GATE 2018 / 2019 / 2020 in Engineering Science (XE) and Life Science (XL) papers along with TANCET 2020

TANCA 2020 Application Process

  • Candidate should apply only through online in the Web portal https://www.annauniv.edu/cfa/pdf/TANCA.pdf
  • The candidates who intend to apply for seats under sponsored category should have appeared in TANCET 2020 apply through Online in the web portal https://www.annauniv.edu/tanca2020
  • Take a print out of the filled - in online application. send the filled – in application through proper channel with necessary documents enclosed to one of the following addresses based on the choice of college - The Director (Admissions), Anna University, Chennai–600025
  • The Principal, Government College of Technology, Thadagam Road, Coimbatore–641013

Counselling Process

After the selection procedure, selected candidates have to appear for the counselling process. Candidates will be called as per the availability of seats and the merit list. Candidates have to reach the centre as per specified date & time along with documents required

Admission Process

  • A limited number of unfilled GATE seats (Full-Time mode) is available after GATE Counselling will be considered under sponsored Full-Time Category for the candidates employed and sponsored by the Govt. / Government Organisations / Govt. Aided Educational Institutions under sponsored category in the University Departments of
  • Anna University, Chennai i.e. (College of Engineering Guindy, A.C. College of Technology, School of Architecture & Planning and Madras Institute of Technology Campuses).
  • All the candidates under sponsored category should have appeared in TANCET 2020
