NBEMS announces Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) 2022 for Admission to Fellow of National Board (FNB) Courses

 

NBE FET 2022 – National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) New Delhi shall be conducting Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) – 2022 on 10th February 2023 for Indian & International students for admissions to various Fellowship (FNB) Courses.

  • Online Application Submission : 6th January 2023 (3 PM Onwards) to 27th January 2023 (Till 11:55PM)
  • Edit Window for All Payment Success Applications (Any information/documents can be edited except Name, Nationality, Email, Mobile number and Test City) : 28th January 2023 to 29th January 2023
  • Selective Edit Window to rectify Deficient/Incorrect Images (No further opportunity shall be given) 1. Photograph 2. Signatures 3. Thumb Impression : 31st January 2023 to 1st February 2023
  • Issue of Admit Card : 4th February 2023
  • Examination Date : 10th February 2023
  • Cut Off Date for qualifying eligible PG qualification towards determination of eligibility for appearing in FET 2022 : 31st December 2022
  • Declaration of Result By : 28th February 2023

 

Eligibility Criteria

For Indian Students

  • Students who are in possession of recognized post graduate medical Degree/Provisional Pass Certificate (MD/MS/DM/MCh/ DNB/DrNB) or an equivalent recognized qualification or likely to be in possession of the same by 31st December 2022 in accordance with eligible feeder qualifications for Fellowship courses as mentioned in Annexure B of this Information Bulletin can apply for FET 2022.
  • Students found to be ineligible at any stage of FET 2022 will not be permitted to appear in the examination. In an unlikely event of any ineligible student appearing and/or being successful in FET 2022, the result/ candidature of such student shall be cancelled and/or is deemed to be cancelled as and when the ineligibility is detected.
  • The cutoff date for qualifying MD/MS/DM/MCh/DNB/DrNB qualification towards determination of eligibility for appearing in FET 2022 shall be 31st December 2022.
  • Requests for appearing in FET 2022 from students who are qualifying and/or getting the results of their MD/MS/DM/MCh/ DNB/DrNB qualifications after 31st December 2022 shall be summarily rejected.
  • Registration with NMC/State Medical Council is mandatory and its documentary proof should be furnished at the test Centre on the examination day.
  • Eligibility of students issued admit card for the examination shall be purely provisional. Appearing in FET 2022 does not confer any automatic rights upon the student for admission to FNB courses.
  • There is no upper age limit for training in NBEMS Fellowship courses.

For International Students

  • The student must meet/fulfil the following criteria:
  • The student should possess post graduate medical qualification equivalent to the eligible feeder qualification as mentioned in the Annexure B of this Information Bulletin for the corresponding Fellowship course.
  • The cutoff date for qualifying the eligible feeder post graduate medical qualification towards determination of eligibility for appearing in FET 2022 shall be 31st December 2022. 
  • There is no upper age limit for training in Fellowship courses

 

Application Process

  • Application for FET 2022 can only be submitted online through National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences website https://nbe.edu.in or https://natboard.edu.in
  • There is no other methodology for application submission. Application submitted through any other mode shall be summarily rejected.

Examination Fee

  • For Indian Students : Rs. 4250/-
  • For International Students : Rs. 44250 (Examination Fee of Rs. 37500 + 18% GST)
  • Mode of Payment : Provided using a Credit Card or a Debit Card or other modes

 

Selection Process

  • The selection of a student will be through a MCQ based examination namely Fellowship Entrance Test.

Scheme of FET 2022

    • A student can apply for the fellowship courses for which his/her broad or super specialty qualification/equivalent qualification is eligible, at the time of online submission of the application form.
    • Mode of Exam: FET 2022 shall be conducted in a single day as a computer based exam on 10th February 2022.
    • Duration: The total duration of the question paper will be 105 minutes (Part A – 45 minutes and Part B – 60 minutes). 
    • Question Paper: There shall be a separate question paper for each fellowship course /clubbed group. Total number of questions in each question paper shall be 100 which shall be divided into two Parts; Part A & Part B.
  • Marking Scheme: Allocation of marks for each MCQ shall be as follows:
    • Correct Response – 4 Marks
    • Incorrect Response – 1 Mark shall be deducted
    • Unattempted Question – Zero

 

Admit Card

  • Admit Cards for FET 2022 Examination shall be available to download at NBEMS website https://nbe.edu.in on 4th February 2023. Students found ineligible shall not be issued admit cards.
