COMEDK Under Graduate Entrance Examination - COMEDK UGET 2012 for the Academic year 2012 - 2012 will be held on Sunday the 6th May 2012. The Online Application and other details will be made available on the COMEDK website

The Comedk Notice on their website says for COMEDK-UGET-2012

Whereas, the Medical Council of India intended to conduct National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under Graduate Medical Degree vide Notification in No. MCI- 31(1)/2010-Med./49068 and MCI-18(1)/2010-Med./49070 dtd. 21.12.2010 and 27.12.2010; Whereas, the Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association has obtained an interim order by which said notification has been stayed by the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka, Bangalore in W.P. No. 43238-41/2011; Whereas, the KPM&DCA and KUPECA have entrusted the responsibility of conducting an Integrated Entrance Test to Under Graduate courses in Medical, Dental and Engineering degree in Karnataka for their member institutions; Now, therefore, as decided in the Advisory Committee of COMEDK, the Entrance Test for Under Graduate courses in Medical, Dental and Engineering Degrees in respect of member institutions would be held on 6th May 2012, the Sunday. Candidates are advised to visit the COMEDK website (www.comedk.org) for updates. The start date for issue of Online Application would be 10th March, 2012; further updates would be hosted from 15th February, 2012.

Admissions to under graduate courses in Private, Unaided, Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka for the academic year 2012-13 through COMEDK under graduate entrance test and centralized counseling (COMEDK UGET-2012)

Karnataka Private Medical and Dental Colleges Association and Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association have set up COMEDK to organize a common entrance test and centralized counseling, that would facilitate selection of candidates on merit for admission to undergraduate courses offered by member institutions (Medical, Engineering and Dental)

COMEDK entrance test and publication of test score and rank list will be followed by centralized counseling (single window system)

Candidates are advised to visit the COMEDK website www.comedk.org regularly for all updates.

COMEDK invites applications for taking COMEDK UGET-2012 from eligible candidates seeking admissions to UG courses in medical, dental and engineering streams for the academic year 2012-2013. For relevant and important information about COMEDK UGET-2012, kindly refer to the brochure on the website. The fee structure of each member institution and other details will be made available on website

 

Eligibility Criteria for applying to COMEDK UGET 2012

Applicants should have passed the 2nd PUC/12th std or equivalent exams. Candidates who have appeared for the examination and expecting results may also apply

For MBBS and BDS as per the MCI (medical council of India) and DCI (dental council of India) norms

For B.E. as per the AICTE (All India council of technical education) norms

Applications are to be filled online on our website www.comedk.org after obtaining a demand draft for Rs 800/- for 3 subjects (PCM or PCB) and Rs 1000/- for all 4 subjects (PCMB) in favour of COMEDK, payable at Bangalore (non refundable fee) and posted to the below given COMEDK address along with the demand draft and the documents asked for on or before___

Neither the application forms or filled in applications will be sold or received in COMEDK office or any member institutions
