Maharashtra Pharmacy Admission 2020 – Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) conducts for admission to First Year Under-Graduate Technical Course in B.Pharmacy & Post Graduate Pharm.D Courses at State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra for the academic Session 2020-21

Candidates who have registered for MHT-CET 2020 are not required to pay any fees for registration for admission. However other candidates who have obtained a score that is valid for admission in the academic year 2020-21

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra Pharmacy Admission 2020

Eligibility for admission for First Year B. Pharmacy:

Nationality

The candidate should be an Indian National;

Maharashtra State / Jammu – Kashmir and Ladakh Migrant / All India Candidates

Educational Qualifications

Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;

Obtained Non-Zero Score in MHT-CET 2020 (PCB or PCM)

Obtained Non-Zero Positive Score in NEET or Non-Zero score in MHT-CET 2020 (PCB or PCM)

Eligibility for admission for First Year Pharm. D:

Nationality

The candidate should be an Indian National.

Educational Qualifications

Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with subjects Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together; Or

Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from institutes affiliated to State Board and having the approval of competent central authority and State Government and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State);

Obtained Non-Zero Score in MHT-CET 2020 (PCB or PCM)

Obtained Non-Zero Positive Score in NEET or Non-Zero score in MHT-CET 2020 (PCB or PCM)

Maharashtra Pharmacy Admission 2020 Application Process

  • Candidates can apply online only through the official website www.mahacet.org as per schedule.
  • The Candidate shall register online, the candidate shall fill & submit the online application form and upload the required documents from anywhere through the computer connected to the internet and he/she need not have to visit personally for verification and confirmation of the application form. his/her application & documents shall be verified and confirmed by the designated E-Scrutiny Center through online mode only.
  • Candidates who have registered for MHT-CET 2020 are not required to pay any fees for registration for admission. However other candidates who have obtained a score which is valid for admission in the academic year 2020-21 in NEET and have not registered for MHT-CET 2020 are required to pay fees as given below only by Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking etc. through Online mode. The fees paid is nonrefundable.

Admission Process

  • All types of candidates aspiring for admission under CAP seats shall register/themselves online, Scan and upload Documents, solve grievances raised by E-Scrutiny Center during E-Verification verified documents & Application Form confirmed by E-Scrutiny Center. Such eligible registered candidates shall be considered for CAP Merit and admission through CAP.
  • The candidates aspiring for admission for Institutional Quota, seats remaining vacant after CAP, it is mandatory to get registered, documents verified and confirmation of application by E-Scrutiny center. Such candidates must apply separately to Institutes for admissions to seats other than CAP Seats. Merit of such candidates shall be prepared by the Institute at the institute level.
