IITTM Gwalior announces Admission to BBA in Tourism & Travel & MBA in Tourism and Travel Management Program 2024

 

IITTM Gwalior BBA and MBA Admission 2024 – Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM) invites applications for admission to BBA (Tourism & Travel) and MBA (Tourism & Travel Management) Programs at IITTM Centre Gwalior, Bhubaneswar, Noida, Goa and Nellore for the academic session 2024. Two year full-time Master of Business Administration in Tourism & Travel Management and Bachelor of Business Administration in Tourism & Travel (As per the MoU signed for collaboration with JNU–Ministry of education, Govt.Of India) are offered for learners to enable them to acquire the right skill set with ample flexibility to adapt to employing the organization’s needs.

BBA

  • Last date of applying to BBA : June 05,2024
  • IITTM Admission Test (IIAT) : June 09, 2024
  • GD and PI for all applicants (all centers via hybrid mode) : June 11-12, 2024
  • Declaration of admission/ Merit List : June 15, 2024
  • Last date for depositing of admission fee : June 30, 2024
  • Commencement of Academic Session : July 15, 2024
  • Last date of apply for internal transfers one program / center to another programme / center : July 31, 2024
  • Communication of decision on transfer cases : August 05, 2024
  • Completion of BBA (TT) Central Admission 2024-27 : September 30, 2024

 

MBA

  • The last date for applying to appear in the written test (IIAT) : June 05, 2024
  • IITTM Admission Test (IIAT) : June 09, 2024
  • G.D. and P.I. for all applicants (all centers) : June 11-12, 2024
  • Declaration of Merit List : June 15, 2024
  • Last date for depositing the admission fee : June 30, 2024
  • Commencement of Academic Session : July 15, 2024
  • Last date for applying for internal transfers from one program/center to another programme /
  • center : July 31, 2024
  • Communication of decision on transfers cases : August 05, 2024
  • Completion of MBA (TTM) Central Admission 2024- : September 26-30, 2024

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

For BBA (TT) Programme

    • 1) Candidates seeking admission in BBA (TT) programme shall be required to possess 10 + 2 examinations in any subject from are cognized University/Board with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC / ST).
    • Candidates appearing in final year examination of 10+ 2 are also eligible to apply, subject to they must submit their result of 12th class with the requisite percentage of marks by September 30, 2023, failing which their admission will be cancelled and the course fee deposited in the institute, will also be forfeited. (In this regards, the student must submit an affidavit on nonjudicial stamp paper of Rs.100/-). And
  • 2) Appear in CUET (Common University Entrance Test) and submit a valid score card (2023). OR
  • Appeared in the written test “IITTM Admission Test (IIAT)” to be conducted by IITTM. 

 

Age Limit

  • The candidates seeking admission to the BBA (Tourism & Travel) program has no age bar.

Reservation

  • Reservation for SC, ST, OBC (under Non-creamy layer) and Physically Challenged candidates will be applicable as per Govt. of India rules i.e. 7.5% for ST, 15% for SC, 27% for OBC (under non creamy layer) and 10% for EWS candidates. However, physically challenged candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • If the seats reserved for SC/ST remain vacant then the same will be filled by the SC/ST candidates who appear for entrance exam irrespective of their ranking in the exam.

 

For MBA (TTM) Programme

  • 1) Candidates seeking admission to the MBA (TTM) programme shall be required to possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Indian or foreign university (as per the AIU foreign equivalence list), having secured a minimum of 50% aggregate in case of General and OBC categories and 45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are eligible to apply.
  • Note: If the seats reserved for SC/ST remain vacant, then the same will be filled by the SC/ST candidates who appear for the entrance exam, irrespective of their ranking in the exam.
  • Candidates appearing in the final year examination of graduation are also eligible to apply, subject until they must submit their result of graduation with the requisite percentage of marks by September 30, 2024, failing which their admission will be cancelled and the course fee deposited in the Institute will also be forfeited. (In this regard, the student must submit an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.100/- ).
  • 2) The candidate must appear in any of the following Management Entrance Test and submit a valid scorecard between June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024):

  • viii. Appear in the written “IITTM Admission Test (IIAT)” to be conducted by IITTM.

Age Limit

  • There is no age bar for pursuing an MBA (TTM) for any category.

 

Application Process

  • The candidate will have to apply Online www.iittm.ac.in
  • Kindly read the Admission Bulletin for BBA(TT) 2024-27 / MBA (TTM) 2024-26 thoroughly, before applying for the Admissions 2024.

 

Selection Process

  • A candidate to be considered for admission in BBA (TTM) 2024-27 / MBA (TTM) 2024-26 Would have to participate in all the three components of the screening process, as mentioned below. If any case the candidate does not appear in one of the components of the screening process, will not be included in the merit list. The admission in BBA (TT) / MBA (TTM) would be strictly on the basis of overall performance of written test + GD + PI, as explained follows:

 

BBA (TTM) 

  • i. Written Test: IITTM Admission Test (IIAT) 2024 OR  SCORE CARD: CUET – 70% 

 

MBA (TTM)

  1. Score Card: CAT / MAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / ATMA/ CUET OR Written Test: IITTM Admission Test (IIAT) 2024 – 70% 
  2. Group Discussion – 15%
  3. Personal Interview – 15%

 

    • “IITTM Admission Test (IIAT)” to be conducted by IITTM. The admission Test (AT) will be held on June 9, 2024 (Sunday) (tentative) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm through online mode, the details of the online test will be notified later via IITTM website, email, and telecommunication.
    • It will be an objective type test with four options of nearest answers carrying 100 questions /100 marks [General Awareness (50 Marks), Verbal ability (25 Marks) and Quantitative ability (25 marks)]. One mark for each right answer and no negative marking for wrong answer.
  • Group Discussion & Personal Interview:
  • Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for G.D. and P.I. at any one of the IITTM centres, which they have to mark in the admission form:
