Character Sketch of the Rain
The rain has been personified when strangely, it replies to the poet’s query. The rain describes herself as the poem of earth. It is everlasting and perpetual. It may change in shape but it remains the same water. Rain rises from land and the bottomless oceans. She gets transformed into clouds and descends back to the earth and washes the droughts, dust particles and atoms on the earth. She also gives life to the unborn hidden seeds and purifies and beautifies her birthplace. It compares itself to a song which originates from the singer, gets accolades and returns back to him with a lot of love.
