Gap Filling Class 10 English Grammar

 

What is Gap Filling in English Grammar? 

Gap filling is a type of exercise based on English Grammar. In this exercise, a student’s knowledge of various grammar topics is tested. Generally, the question contains a blank and two options are provided in brackets. Students have to identify the answer out of the given two choices. Sometimes options are not provided in such questions and students have to think about the correct answer and write it down.

Marking scheme of Gap filling Questions

Each question of gap filling has one blank to be filled. Each blank carries one mark. So every single question of gap filling carries a weightage of one mark.
