Eligibility Criteria for West Bengal GNM Admission 2020

Nationality

The candidates must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the district of West Bengal (from where the candidates apply) uninterruptedly for at least five years preceding the date of submission of application.

Educational Qualifications

Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) Passed from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education and Vocational Agriculture Examination (10+2) Passed and Vocational Home Science Examination (10+2) Passed from the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development or passed equivalent examination from any recognized Council/Board with 40% qualification marks in English.

Age Limit

Between 17 – 23 years as on 31st December year of Admission.

West Bengal GNM Admission 2020 Application Process

  • Eligible Candidate can apply online through the official website www.wbhealth.gov.in
  • Application is to be made as per online pro-forma floated in the website www.wbhealth.gov.in. All the columns should be filled up  properly. No Application will be entertained if necessary documents are not finished or not completed as per pro-forma.
  • Candidates may go through the prospectus before filling up the online application form and should check the University website regularly for further updates regarding the admission process.
  • Read the all instructions regarding filling up online forms, and admission to the courses are detailed before filling up the application form available on the official website.

Selection Procedure

  • Selection will be made strictly on the basix of total marks obtained in compulsory subjects English with 40% Qualifying marks and three Elective subjects (Best three) except Environmental Education with 40% qualifying marks in the Vocational Agriculture examination (10+2) passed and Vocational Home Science Examination (10+2) passed or equivalent Examination.
  • Selection is subject to verification of marks-sheet from H.S. Council.concerned authority. In case of science students, candidates must obtain pass marks in both practical and theory separately and 40% in aggregate.
