WEBSCTE JEXPO and VOCLET 2022 – West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (Technical Education Division) invites Online application for admission to Diploma Courses in Engineering & Technology through Entrance Examinations viz. JEXPO-2022 and VOCLET-2022 for the academic year 2022-23.

- Date of Exam for JEXPO 2022 : 07th May, 2022 (Saturday) 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
- Date of Exam for VOCLET 2022 : 07th May, 2022 (Saturday) 01:30 p.m. to 03:30 p.m.
WEBSCTE JEXPO and VOCLET Eligibility Criteria 2022
For JEXPO-2022 Course
- Diploma in Engineering & Technology in different disciplines (admission in the first year) : Must have passed the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board / Council / Institute with English, Mathematics and Physical Science / Science / Science & Technology among others as subjects securing at least 35% marks (without rounding up) in aggregate as per AICTE norms excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional / optional.
- Candidates appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in 2022 with English, Mathematics and Physical Science / Science / Science & Technology among others as subjects may also apply.
- Age Criteria – No upper age limit, but candidate’s date of birth should not be after 01.07.2007.
- Part Time Morning Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical & Civil Engineering (for ST candidates only) : Schedule Tribe (ST) Candidates, who passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination, are eligible. ST candidates who are citizens of India and domiciled in West Bengal for at least last two years from the date of application are only eligible for admission to these courses.
- Age Criteria – Date of Birth should not be after 01.07.2007
- Part Time Diploma in Mining Engineering : The sponsored candidates from M/s Eastern Coalfield Limited (ECL) should have passed Madhyamik / Secondary / equivalent examination with Physical Science and Mathematics and must possess at least 3 years’ post qualification working experience in Mining related jobs as on last date of submission of application.
- Age Criteria – Not below 19 years as on 01.01.2022 (Female candidates are not allowed to apply for this course)
- Part Time Diploma in Electrical Engineering : Passed 10th Standard / SSC examination and 2 Year ITI after 10th Standard. OR
- Passed 10th Standard / SSC examination and Minimum of two years full time work experience in a registered firm / Company / Industry / Educational or/and Government / Autonomous Organization in the relevant field.
- Age Criteria – Date of Birth should not be after 01.07.2005
For VOCLET-2022 Course
- Diploma in Engineering & Technology in different disciplines (admission in the second year through lateral entry) : Passed / Appeared* (10+2) HS Vocational Examination from the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (Vocational Education Division) [Erstwhile, WBSCVE&T] OR
- Passed 2 years’ ITI at a stretch after passing Madhyamik or equivalent examination (Appearing ITI candidates are not eligible) OR
- Passed / Appeared* 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology from any recognized Board / Council / Institute OR
- Passed / Appeared* 10+2 (Science) with Mathematics as one of the subjects from any recognized Board / Council / Institute OR
- Passed / Appeared* 10+2 (Science) with Technical Vocational Subjects from any recognized Boards / Councils / Institutes (including CSS for VHSE)
- * subject to submission of pass certificate / marksheet at the time of admission
- Age Criteria : No age limit
- Diploma in Modern Office Practice & Management (MOPM) : Female candidates who passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination from any recognised Board / Council / Institute are eligible. English must be one of the subjects of study at Secondary (10) and Higher Secondary (10+2) level.
- Age Criteria : Date of Birth should not be after 01.07.2005
- Diploma in 3-Dimensional Animation & Graphics (3DAG) : Female candidates who passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination from any recognised Board / Council / Institute.

WEBSCTE JEXPO and VOCLET Application Process 2022
- The Online Application Form will be available on the council’s website www.webscte.co.in from 1st March, 2022 to 4th April, 2022.
- Online Application Form will have to be filled-in properly.
- Application fee has been waived for the year 2022.
- Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the user manual and on the website.
Selection Process
- Selection will be made on the basis of merit list to be prepared based on the results of JEXPO-2022/VOCLET 2022 Entrance Examination

- Candidates can check the Exam Pattern for JEXPO 2022 and VOCLET 2022 below.
- Exam duration : 2 hours
- Total Marks: 100 marks (Mathematics-40, English-10, Aptitude-10, Physics-20, Chemistry-20)
- Marking Scheme : There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer, from the marks obtained for correct answers.
