Eligibility Criteria for University of Mumbai Admission 2020

Programs Minimum Qualifications
For UG & Integrated  Programs A Pass in 10+2/Higher Secondary examinations with minimums marks.
For PG Programs Passed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.

University of Mumbai Admission 2020 Application Process

  • Eligible candidates can apply through the official website https://mu.ac.in/
  • Interested candidates should apply in the prescribed form available on the website mu.ac.in along with the Demand Draft in favour of “Finance and Accounts Officer, University of Mumbai” to be submitted at Thane Sub Campus
  • Students should submit an undertaking (Format Attached) for confirmation of admission after submission of hard copy of Marksheet and other certificates.
  • Candidates are advised to read carefully and follow the instructions. Before applying for admission, the candidate is advised to ensure his/her eligibility as per the criteria laid down in the prospectus.

Application Fee

For General/SEBC candidates Rs. 500/-
For Reserved and PWD category Rs. 250/-
Mode of Payment Through Online or Offline mode.

Admission Procedure

  • Admission will be done on the basis of Merit list & entrance examination.
  • In the merit based admission, candidates submit admission form and Pre-admission form. After that, the merit list is prepared by each college individually and candidates are called for the document verification round.
