- M. Tech in Embedded Systems and Solutions (Main Campus): B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engineering in Electrical Sciences (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Communications, Computer Sciences), M. Sc. Electronics, M. Sc. Information Technology, M. Sc. Computer Sciences, MCA with 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for reserved categories in the qualifying examination from this University or from any other university as equivalent thereto by this University.
- M. Tech in Computer Science (Main Campus): B. Tech/B E in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for reserved categories in the qualifying examination from this University or from any other university as equivalent thereto by this University.
- M.Tech in Power System and Control (Zakura Campus): B. Tech/B E in relevant branch (Electrical Engineering) with 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for reserved categories in the qualifying examination from this University or from any other university as equivalent thereto by this University.

University of Kashmir M.Tech Admission Application Process 2021
The candidates are advised to follow the below steps for filling their online Application Forms:
- Step-1: Visit http://www.kashmiruniversity.net or www.kashmiruniversity.ac.in and click on Link Admissions 2021
- Step-2: Enter your “Registration No.” and Click “Next”.
- Step-3: Enter the required details and Upload your latest passport size Photograph and click “Next”.
- Step-4: If there is any variation click on the “Previous” button, make necessary corrections and then Click “Submit”. Get a printout of the Form and note the Form No. for future reference.
- Step-5: Deposit the non-refundable “Application Fee of Rs. 150/- (including Rs. 50/- as IT Fee) and Processing fee of Rs. 250/- for one programme i.e. Rs. 400/- “through Online mode only.
Selection Process
- Candidates shall be admitted to the Programme on the basis of merit prepared on VALID GATE score and shall have preference in admission. However, if the number of candidates having VALID GATE Score is less than the intake capacity, a separate admission notification shall be issued by the University and the selection against the said vacancies shall be made on the basis of the entrance test conducted by the University.
