●      15% seats reserved over and above the intake of given degree program to NRIs / Children of NRIs/Candidate Sponsored by NRI

●      Definition of NRI candidate/NRI sponsored candidate shall be as given by Govt. of India / Karnataka Exam Authority

●      Candidate should have studied in English medium at higher secondary or at 11 and 12 standard level or English proficiency could be evidenced by producing certificates like IELTS or TOFEL at the time of admission

Eligibility Criteria for UHS B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture Admission 2020

●      Applicant should have passed 2 years Pre-University Course or 10+2 level or 12 years schooling or its equivalent exam in Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) subjects

●      Those who have studied only Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) are also eligible for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture Degree Programme Preference will be given to PUC (PCMB) students

Note

●      Unfilled seats (i.e. leftover seats after allotting to eligible PCMB students) will be filled from eligible PCB students

UHS B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture Admission 2020 Application Process

●      Application (PDF) has to be downloaded from the University Website www.uhsbagalkot.edu.in from 21st October to 30th November 2020

●      The duly filled in Application along with Xerox copies of educational documents and Notarised Affidavit of Undertaking by the Parent and Candidate, the Sponsored shall give an undertaking on a plain paper that he/she has sponsored the candidate and will pay the prescribed fee regularly till the candidate completes the course to which he/she is admitted and Physical fitness and HIV certificate from the Govt. Hospitals, DD for Rs.1000/- towards Application Fee drawn in favour of Comptroller, UHS, Bagalkot, shall be submitted to the Registrar, UHS Bagalkot in person or by post on or before 30th November 2020 during office hours on working days (Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and on Saturday from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm)

Application Fee

●      Candidates should pay Rs. 1500/- through DD drawn in favour of Comptroller, UHS, Bagalkot.

Selection Procedure

●      The selection of students on the mentioned course will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (i.e/ 12th).

●      Students are advised to fill all qualification details carefully in the application form, to increase the chance of selection.
