TNAU PG and PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria 2021
- Only those students who have studied in State Agricultural Universities (SAUs)/Colleges affiliated to SAUs/Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs)/ICAR Deemed Universities/Central Universities with Agriculture Faculty listed by ICAR/ any other institutes accredited by NAEAB (ICAR) alone are eligible for admission to TNAU for Masters & Doctoral programs.
Minimum OGPA /Aggregate requirement:
- For Masters Program: A candidate who has undergone a course credit system with a minimum OGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 6.60 out of 10.00 in Bachelor’s Degree Programme can apply for Masters Programme. However, for SC/ST candidates, a minimum OGPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 in bachelor’s degree is sufficient.
- For Doctoral Program: A minimum OGPA of 7.00 out of 10.00 in Masters Programs is eligibility to apply for Doctoral Programme
Minimum Qualifications :
- For Masters Program: Graduates who have successfully completed four year undergraduate degree program (specified below) and awarded by any one of the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs)/ Colleges affiliated to SAUs/Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs)/ICAR Deemed Universities/Central Universities with Agriculture Faculty listed by ICAR/ any other institutes accredited by NAEAB (ICAR) alone are eligible to apply for Masters program
- For Doctoral Program: Candidates who have successfully completed four year undergraduate degree program and two year Masters program (specified below) and awarded by any one of the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs)/ Colleges affiliated to SAUs/Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs)/ICAR Deemed Universities/Central Universities with Agriculture Faculty listed by ICAR/ any other institutes accredited by NAEAB (ICAR) alone are eligible to apply for the doctoral program.
TNAU PG and PhD Admission Application Process 2021
- Application should be filled and submitted through online mode only (admissionsatpgschool.tnau.ac.in or https://tnau.ac.in/)
- Applicants should register with valid e-mail ID and mobile number since the communications will be sent electronically through e-mail only.
Application Fee
- For OC/BC/BCM/MBC/DNC Candidates : Rs. 1600/- (One subject)
- For SC/SCA/ST Candidates : Rs. 1550/- (One subject)
- For OC/BC/BCM/MBC/DNC Candidates : Rs. 3100/- (Two subject)
- For SC/SCA/ST Candidates : Rs. 3050/- (Two subject)
- Mode of Payment: Online Through Debit card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
Selection Procedure
- Selection will be based on the entrance examination conducted by online Mode. It is the responsibility of the candidate to prepare themselves for appearing through online mode.
- Since, sufficient time is provided from the date of this notification, candidates should ensure that they use internet connection with good signal. Candidates have to login in on the specified date and time for the entrance exam on their own expenses. Request for change in the date/time will not be entertained.
- The exact date and time of the entrance exam will be published on the University website and intimated to the candidate through email.
