    • MA(MC) Program Online Registration Starts: 26th September 2018
    • MA(MC) Program Registration Closes: 31st December 2018
    • MA(MC)Last Date of Payment: 05th January 2019
    • SIMC MA (MC) Online Entrance Test: 20th January 2019

For Phase II
  • Shortlist of Candidates for PI-WAT: 07th February 2019
  • Panel Interview & Written Ability Test (PI-WAT): 23rd to 24th February 2019
  • Announcement of First Merit List: 06th March 2019
  • Last Date of Fee Payment of First Merit List (1st installment): 18th March 2019
  • Orientation Program: 01st Week of June 2019

Eligibility Criteria for Symbiosis SIMC MA Mass Communication Admission 2019

  • Graduations in any discipline from a recognized University with 50% (45% for SC/ST) aggregate are eligible; degree through correspondence is not accepted unless it is through IGNOU; applicants expecting their final year results may apply
  • Their admission will be provisional and subject to furnishing proof of graduation with 50% by beginning of the second semester
For International Candidates
  • A candidate is eligible to apply as a Foreign National (FN) if he/she holds a foreign passport.
  • A candidate is eligible to apply as a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) if he/she has a PIO card, and is a citizen of a country other than India.
  • A candidate is eligible to apply for a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) if he/she has appeared either for the 10+2(equivalent to the Indian 10+2) examination or graduation outside India. It is mandatory for one of the two qualifying examinations to be given outside India.
Admit Card
  • Downloadable Admit cards of all the eligible candidates will be available on official website www.simc.edu. Candidates have to enter their “SIMC MA(MC) ID” & “Password” to download the admit card
  • All the candidates are advised to download their Admit Cards from the website OR through the direct link provided below before the last date.
Exam Pattern
  • SIMC MA(MA) is an online test with 4 sections of 2 hrs.
  • Mode of exam: Objective test
  • Types of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Duration of exam: 120 mins
  • General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability – 40 Marks
  • Media & Culture – 40 Marks
  • Current affairs and Contemporary issues – 40 Marks
  • Analytical & Logical Reasoning – 30 Marks
  • Total marks: 150 marks

Symbiosis SIMC MA Mass Communication Admission 2019 Application Process

  • Online Registration for MA(MC) Program is on for the Batch 2019-21. Application to SIMC’s M.A (Mass Communication) program is a three – step process
Step-1 Online Registration
  1. Visit simc.edu
  2. Fill up the online application; the application form contains the details under the following tabs
  1. Program and Personal Details

  3. To fill in the educational details Class X, XII and graduation transcripts are required
  4. Family Details
  5. Experience Details
Step-2 Make Payment
  • Pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.1475/- (this includes Rs.1250 as SIMC MA (MC) Entrance Test fee and Rs. 225/- as GST @18%). You have 2 choices of payment modes
Demand Draft
    • Get a demand draft for Rs.1475/- from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Director, Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication” payable at Pune

 

  • Write your MA (MC) ID and name at the backside of the DD. Choose the mode of Payment as DD in “Make Payment” Tab and click “Submit”.
