 Duration

  • M Phil Program – Minimum 2 Year
  • Ph D Program – Minimum 3 Years

 Shivaji University M.Phil & PhD Admission 2021 Important Dates

  • Online Application shall be available from 17th June 2021from 12.00 noon to 17th July 2021
  • Date of Entrance Examination: To be notified later

 Eligibility Criteria for Shivaji University M.Phil & PhD Admission 2021

M Phil Program

  • A Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s Degree by Shivaji University or by statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale
  • Eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures

PhD Program

  • Shall have a Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s Degree by the Shivaji University or by statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale
  • A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, shall be allowed for those belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/VJNT/OBC SEBC/EWS)
  • NET/SET/Regular Fellowship (State/National Level) Full time teacher Fellowship

 Shivaji University M.Phil & PhD Admission 2021 Application Process

  • Interested candidates can apply online by http://www.unishivaji.ac.in/
  • Procedure for admission will be undertaken as per the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D Degrees) Regulations, 2016 and amendments there upon from time to time.

 Application Fee (Non-Refundable)

  • M Phil /PhD
  • Open Category Candidate – Rs. 850/- (Non- Refundable)
  • Reserved Category – Rs.600/-
  • The fee of entrance test shall be paid through Online Payment Gateway facility

 Entrance Test

  • An Entrance Test shall be a qualifying test for admission to MPhil./PhD Program
  • Test will be of 100 marks (50 questions of two marks each with multiple choices)
  • Entrance Examination will be offline/online
  • The duration for the examination will be two hours
