About REVA University
- REVA University is a State Private University established in Karnataka State under the Government of Karnataka Act No. 13 in the year 2013 in Bengaluru, the IT capital of India. REVA University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is approved by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and is accredited by NAAC. As per the QS Asian University Rankings 2023, REVA is ranked 6th among State Private Universities in Karnataka and 47th in India. Eligibility Criteria
Common Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must pass in PUC (Pre University Course) or class 10+2 examination.
- Should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together, of any Board recognized by the respective State Governments / Central Government / Union Territories or any other qualification recognized as equivalent.
BTech Programs
- Candidates should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics / Technical Vocational subjects.
BA LLB/BBA LLB Programs
- Should be a minimum of 22 years old (24 years for SC/ST/OBC) at the time of admission
- The candidates should have studied English as a compulsory subject in the 12th standard qualifying exam.
Post Graduate
- B E/B.Tech. in CSE/ISE/TE/ECE/EEE/IT/MCA/M.Sc in Computer Science or Mathematics or Information Science or Information Technology with a minimum of 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) marks in aggregate of any recognized University/Institution or AMIE or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
MBA Programs
- Should have passed in bachelor’s degree of three years in any stream or B.E/ B.Tech. with 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST) of marks in aggregate from any recognized University/institution or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
LLM
- 3 years/5years Degree in Law from recognized university/ institution with a minimum 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) marks in aggregate from any recognized University / Institution. Admission is based on CLAT/LSAT.
M.Com
- B.Com/BBM/BBA/BBS with 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST) of semester marks in aggregate of any recognized University/Institution or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto
MCA
- Passed B.C.A/ B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. (CSE)/ B.Tech. (CSE) / B.E. (IT) / B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree. OR Passed any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc / B.Com. / B.A./ B. Voc./ etc.,) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level
- Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
MA in Journalism and Communication
- Bachelor’s degree of three years in any stream or BE / B.Tech. with 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST) marks in aggregate from any recognized University/Institution or any other qualification recognised as equivalent thereto.
Doctoral Programs
- Candidates for admission to the Ph. D programme shall have a Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.
- Candidates who have cleared the M. Phil. course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and successfully completing the M. Phil. Degree shall be eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the Ph. D. Degree in the same Institution in an integrated programme.
Diploma Programs
- Post Graduates in Biological Sciences / Life Sciences (M.Sc./M.Tech/ME); Graduates in Medical Sciences (MBBS), Dental Sciences (BDS), Ayurveda (BAMS), Homeopathy (BHMS) and Unani Medicine (BUMS).

Steps to Apply
- Enter a valid email id
- Enter your full name (as in class X Marks Card)
- Enter your Mobile No. (Will be verified through a SMS OTP)
- After the mobile verification, select to opt for REVA Common Entrance Test
- Mention the category to which you belong to
- Select the School & Program to which you want to apply for Admissions
- Confirm your selection, accept the declaration and make payment for the application using the available gateways which contain different modes for payment
- You will receive application fee payment confirmation receipt on your registered email id along with your application number and login link to submit your completely filled application. (Use this application number for future references)
- Use your application number as user and set your password
- Continue filling the application with correct details
- After the successful application submission, you will be communicated by a dedicated admission counsellor if your application is shortlisted for admissions.
