Rabindra Bharati University UG Admission 2021 – Rabindra Bharati University (RBU) Kolkata invites online applications for admission to UG B.A.(Hons) Arts, UG B.A.(Hons) Fine Arts and UG B.F.A Visual Art Programs for the academic session 2021-22.

- UG B.A.(Hons) Arts Course : Subjects: Bengali, English, Sanskrit, History, Philosophy, Political Science and Economics.
- Duration : 3-year duration under CBCS consisting of 6 Semesters of 6 – month
- UG B.A.(Hons) Fine Arts Course : Subjects: Rabindra Sangeet, Vocal Music, Dance, Drama, Instrumental Music, Percussion and Western Classical Music
- Duration : 3-years duration under CBCS)consisting of 6 Semesters of 6- month

Eligibility Criteria for Rabindra Bharati University UG Admission 2021
- Candidates having passed the H.S. Examination or its equivalent with 50 % marks (45 % for SC/ST/PWD) in the respective subject in which Honours is sought for, are eligible to apply.
- Note: (i) This 50 % cut off marks is not applicable to the candidates seeking admission under sports category.
- For Economics: (i) Candidates having Economics as Subject in H.S. level must have pass marks (30%) in Mathematics in H.S level.
- (ii) Candidates not having Economics as Subject in H.S. level must have 50% (45 % for SC/ST/PWD) marks in Mathematics in H.S. level.
- Break of study admissible: 2 years i.e. the candidates who have passed H.S or its equivalent in 2021, 2020 & 2019 are only eligible to apply.
Rabindra Bharati University UG Admission 2021 Application Process
- Application Forms can be filled up Online on the University Website at: www.rbu.ac.in / admission.rbu.net.in / online.rbu.net.in from 02/08/2021 to 20/08/2021.
- Candidates applying for more than one subject will have to apply separately following procedures mentioned above.
- Duly filled-in downloaded application form should be signed by the candidate at the given spaces of the form.
- The hard copy of duly filled-in downloaded Application Form along with self-attested copies of all mark sheets, certificates and other relevant documents will be required to submit to the University on the day of admission confirmation.
Admission Process
UG B.F.A Visual Art Course
- This is for information of all concerned that as per the resolution adopted by the Admission Board, Faculty of Visual Arts, following admission procedure would be followed for admission to the different UG programmes under the Faculty of Visual Arts in the academic session 2021-2022.
- In view of the present pandemic, the entire admission process including the admission test would be conducted online.
- Admission Test would be conducted in 4 (four) phases as noted below:
- (a) Phase-I: Portfolio Evaluation [Full marks: 20]
- (b) Phase-II: Practical Tests [Full marks: 50]
- (c) Phase-III: Online interview [Full Marks: 20]
- (d) Academic marks of H.S. or its equivalent- Full Score-10
UG B.A.(Hons) Fine Arts Course
- In view of the present pandemic situation, the entire admission process including the admission test for admission to B.A Academic Programmes under the Faculty of Fine Arts in 2021-2022 academic sessions would be conducted online through the University’s own IT infrastructure and platform.
- Merit list of candidates would be prepared on the basis of Academic marks and performance of the Admission Test. Admission Test would be conducted in 2 (two) phases as noted below:
- (a) Phase-I: Practical Test [Full marks: 50]
- (b) Phase-II: Theoretical Test (Written Test) [Full marks: 30]
