NIE Chennai MPH Admission 2024 – Applications are invited from medical graduates for admission to the India FETP – Master of Public Health (Epidemiology and Health Systems) – 2 years Program of Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, conducted by ICMR School of Public Health at ICMR – National Institute of Epidemiology, Chennai for the Academic Session 2024

Five Fields Projects

  • During the field postings, the scholars are placed in their districts/workplace
  1. Public Health Situation Analysis
  2. Secondary Data Analysis
  3. Outbreak Investigation
  4. Evaluation of Health Program
  5. Dissertation Epidemiological Study

 

NIE Chennai MPH Admission 2024 Important Dates

  • Last Date for Receipt of Application Form: 31st December 2023
  • Date of Commencement of the Course: 01st July 2024

 

Eligibility Criteria for NIE Chennai MPH Admission 2024

  • Candidates fulfilling the following criteria are eligible to apply for the course: 
  1. M.B.B.S. degree recognized by Medical Council of India 
  2. (a) Working in public health, preferably regularized and permanent employees of State or Central Government Department or Medical institutions; 
  3. (b) Private (Non-Government) candidates worked / working in public health 
  4. Three years’ experience in public health related activities 
  5. Age up to 45 years as on the date mentioned in the admission form. Departmental candidates from ICMR institutions will be granted age relaxation of 5 years. SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India rules

  • The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the institute’s website www.nie.gov.in/icmr_sph/India-FETP—MPH.html
  • Information brochure and prescribed application form are available on the institute’s website www.nie.gov.in or email [email protected]
  • Duly filled in prescribed Application Form with necessary enclosures should be sent to the following address, super scribing “Application for MPH” on top of the cover.

Application Fee

  • Applications should be submitted along with the application fee of Rs.600/= (Rupees Six hundred only) by means of a Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of “Director, NIE” payable at Chennai
  • Applications without the application fee will not be considered.

 

Selection Procedure

  • A selection Committee constituted by SCTIMST and NIE will select the candidates based on the following
  1. Written Test
  2. Personal Interview
