NIAS PhD Admission 2020 – The National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) Bengaluru has invited applications for admission to Doctoral of Philosophy (PhD) Programme for the academic 2020-21
 

NIAS Doctoral Programme

  • National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) is looking for exceptionally motivated students interested in pursuing interdisciplinary research in conflict and security studies, natural and engineering sciences, social sciences, humanities, and the arts.
  • If you are a postgraduate or expecting the degree by July 2020, you can also apply to one or more research areas represented by faculty research interests

NIAS PhD Admission 2020 Important Dates

Last Date of Submission of Application Form 20th April 2020
Short-listed candidates will be invited for a Written Test & Interview 8th & 9th June 2020

 

Eligibility Criteria for NIAS PhD Admission 2020

i. Candidates must have a Bachelors & a Masters/ M.Phil Degree in the respective fields in which they wish to pursue their doctoral program.
ii. Candidates must also have qualified CSIR/ DST/INSPIRE/UGC JRF. Final year students are also invited to apply. The name and details of two referees must also be attached.

Selection Procedure

i. common entrance test (candidates who have qualified the CSIR/DST INSPIRE/UGC-JRF NET with assured fellowship are exempted from the written exam of the NIAS common entrance test)
ii. Two rounds of interview
