- Eligible only for M.Sc. (Applied Nutrition): B.Sc. Nursing
- For M.Sc. (Sports Nutrition): MBBS or non-Medical [B.Sc. in Home Sci./Applied Nutrition/Biochemistry)] or B.Sc. with Nutrition, Food & Nutrition, Home Sci., Zoology, Applied Nutrition & Public Health, Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics, Food Science or Nutrition & Dietetics.

National Institute of Nutrition MSc Admission 2021 Application Process
- Application forms along with prospectus can be downloaded from the website www.nin.res.in or can be obtained in person from the Head, MYASNIN Department of Sports Science, ICMR-National Institute of Nutrition Hyderabad
- Applications received after the last date and time will not be accepted, NIN or OU is not responsible for the postal delay or any loss in transit
Application Fees
- OC/BC/OBC Candidates – Rs.3000/-
- SC/ST Candidates – Rs.2700/-
Selection Process
- Selected candidates, who have qualified for the entrance exam and fulfilled the criteria, following reservation policy, will be uploaded on the NIN website and will also be communicated by email
- After the admission procedure is completed, the final list of selected candidates (who have submitted all original certificates and paid the stipulated fee) will be displayed on the website
Exam Pattern
- The duration of the exam will be ninety (90) minutes
- Candidates need to appear for the entrance test, which will be based on the MCQs format. The Entrance Test will be for 100 marks
- Nutrition – 40 No. of Questions
- Biochemistry – 25 No. of Questions
- Physiology – 25 No. of Questions
- Microbiology – 10 No. of Questions
- Medium: The question paper will be in English only
Minimum Marks
- Minimum Marks in the Entrance Test are as follows:
- a) 30 marks for SC and ST candidates
- b) 40 marks for all other candidates
Syllabus
- Syllabus for the Entrance Exam is the basic understanding of nutrition, biochemistry and physiology taught at the graduation level, general knowledge & aptitude.
