Eligibility Criteria for Manipur Medical Directorate B.Sc and B.Pharm Admission 2020

  • Candidates should be domicile of Manipur by birth or either of the parents should have been residing in Manipur continuously for 20 years or is in the service of the Govt. of Manipur or an Institution /Organisation which is a body substantially owned or controlled by the Govt. of Manipur
  • Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from recognized institute/ board
  • Note: Seats for male candidates for the course of B. Sc. Nursing are available at College of Nursing, RIMS and RIPANS, Aizawl only.

Manipur Medical Directorate B.Sc and B.Pharm Admission 2020 Application Process

  • Application Forms will be available at the Medical Directorate, Lamphelpat. on payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only by cash for all categories of candidates.
  • Application Form can also  be downloaded from the official website www.manipurmedicalcouncil.org

Selection Procedure

  • The selection of the candidates for the available seats will be done based on the marks obtained by the candidates in 10+2 (Sc.) or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics from a recognised University or Board.
  • If two or more candidates obtained equal marks in the last qualifying examination their inter-se merit list shall be prepared in the following order:

a)

Candidate with higher marks in Biology in 10+2(Sc.) examination,

b)

Candidate with higher marks in Chemistry in 10+2(Sc.) examination,

c)

Candidate with higher marks in Physics in 10+2(Sc.) examination and

d)

Preference shall be given to the senior candidate over the junior candidate.

Note

The Selection of B. Pharm candidates with D. Pharm as the qualifying exam shall be done based on the marks obtained at D. Pharm from a recognised University or Board and preference will be given to the candidate with higher marks.
