MRID M.Des & B.Des Admission 2021 Important Dates
- Start Online Application :- 15th June 2021
- Last date for submission of online application :- 31st July 2021
- Closing date of filling up online forms for B.Des. :- 10th August 2021
- Sending soft copy of your application form and Portfolio (pdf not more than 10 MB) to the email: [email protected] :- 17th August 2021
- Entrance Test and Personal Interview :- 24th to 26th August 2021
Eligibility Criteria for MRID M.Des & B.Des Admission 2021
For B.Des Course : Passed HSC (General or Science stream) Examination of Gujarat State or equivalent examination only, as a REGULAR student with a minimum of 50 % of marks in aggregate only shall be eligible to apply.
- All students who have appeared in the HSC examination of the Gujarat State HSC Education Board or any other equivalent examination in the current academic year only as a Regular student with English as one of the subjects and waiting for the result of the Final Examination can apply.
- All the admissions, till the issuance of the Enrollment Certificate, shall be regarded as provisional and subject to confirmation and approval by the appropriate authority of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
- For M.Des Course :Passed B.Des or BVA or BA/B.Sc/BTech from a recognized University or Diploma from a reputed institute like NID, NIFT, IIT or IICD as a REGULAR student with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate only shall be eligible to apply

- Eligible candidates can apply online through official website http://www.mridbaroda.com/ The candidates are desirous to seek admission to be required to apply on the prescribed form online. Only those applicants, who apply online before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria, will be considered for admission.

Admission Process
- Admission to B.Des and M.Des courses shall be finalized on the basis of the performance of a student in the Entrance Test consisting of Practical Test, Written Test and Personal Interview.
- Practical Test : It will be based on finding the skills of the students through Drawing Skills, Colour Skills, 3D Modeling & Design Skills.
- Written Test : Written Test would consist of English Language Proficiency, Understanding of Visual Arts, Culture, Design and Craft.
