Eligibility Criteria

  • UG : Passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination with concerned subject
  • PG Course : Graduation or Equivalent in concerned disciplines
  • MBA and MTTM : A three/four year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field of study, awarded by a University or Institute established as per law and recognised as equivalent by this University, with 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates) shall constitute the minimum requirement for admission to the MBA programmes. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in the current year can apply for admission but they have to fulfil all eligibility conditions on the day of admission. 
  • MEd : Candidates having B.Ed./B.A.-B.Ed./ B.Sc.-B.Ed./ B.El.Ed./ D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate Degree or a recognized BTC or LT diploma or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate from a University established by law and recognized by the University Grants Commission

Steps to Follow

  • Step 1 – Registration: Applicants have to fill the relevant details in the form provided. These fields cannot be edited later. Applicants will receive their login details in the mobile number and email ID provided at the time of registration.
  • Step 2 – Personal Details: Applicants have to enter their personal details
  • Step 3 – Educational Qualifications: Applicants have to fill their educational qualifications. Those applicants who are in the final year of qualifying examination have to provide roll number and University details
  • Step 4 – Upload photo and signature: Applicants have to upload their photo and scanned signature
  • Step 5 – Preview: Applicants can preview all the entries made at this point. If there is some error they can edit these or start the entire process again
  • Step 6 – Application Fee: Form fees can be submitted by any of the following ways – Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking
  • Step 7 – Print Application Form: Applicants can print their complete application form and fee receipt to complete the application process.

Admission Process

  • UG : Admissions in the Faculties of Arts, Commerce, Law, Science, Education and Fine Arts, Yoga, Medicine and Diploma in Pharmacy Undergraduate students shall be admitted on the basis of marks obtained in under-graduate entrance test (UGET) of the University
  • MBA/MTTM: Candidates seeking admission to the MBA/MTTM programme shall be selected through Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) 2022. This would be followed by a personal interview of the candidates. The written component (LUMET) will account for a merit score of 70% while the personal interview will account for a merit score of 30%. The overall merit would be calculated on the basis of the combined score.
  • BPEd/MPEd : The admission to the courses is done on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance exam, physical fitness test, Game Proficiency test and Interview.
  • MEd : Admission to the M.Ed. program will be based on Written Test, Academic Index Weightage, Interview.
  • MVA/MFA : Admissions to the MVA/MFA courses would be done on the basis of the following. (i) Written Examination (ii) Practical Examination (Object drawing – Pencil light and shade) (iii) Interview.

 

 

Entrance Exam Pattern

 

U.G. Exam Pattern

  • Admission will be on MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) based Entrance Test.
  • The number of questions in the Entrance Test of all Programmes will be 100 each.
  • Each question will carry 02 marks.
  • There will be no negative marking.
  • The duration of Entrance Test will be of 90 minutes for all programmes.

 

Syllabus

  • B.A. (NEP) : Questions will be from subjects Hindi, English, Geography, History, Civics, Psychology, Economics (10+2 level).
  • B.Com. (NEP) and B.Com. (H) : Questions will be related to Mental Ability, Commerce, Accounting, Commercial Maths, Economics and Computer (10+2 level).
  • B.Sc. (Maths) (NEP) : Questions will be related to Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics of (10+2 level) Mental Aptitude and basic knowledge of Computer Application.
  • B.Sc. (Biology) (NEP) : Questions will be related to Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, of (10+2 level) Mental Aptitude and basic knowledge of Computer Application.
  • LLB (Integrated 5 Years) : Questions will be related to Legal General Awareness, History, Geography, General Science, Reasoning and Mental Ability.
  • BBA : Questions will be related to General Knowledge, General English, Numerical Aptitude, Logical Reasoning.
  • BCA : Questions will be related to General Knowledge, General English, Numerical Aptitude, Mathematics & Computer Science & Logical Reasoning.
  • D. Pharm : Question paper will contain 100 MCQ out of which.
    • 50 questions of Chemistry & Physics (10+2) level.
    • Remaining 50 questions will be from Maths (10+2) level and Biology (10+2) level, candidates will have to opt. any one (Maths or Biology)
  • B.A./B.Sc. Yoga : Questions will be related to General Knowledge, General English, Logical Reasoning, General Science.
  • B.Voc : Questions will be related to Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology and basic Computer (10+2) level.
  • B.F.A,/B.V.A. : The Entrance test will be based on following:
    • Object Drawing in Pencil with light and shade (Praccal)
    • Memory Drawing in Pencil (Praccal)
    • Written examination 100 objective type questions related to Art and general awareness.
  • Note : Candidates have to bring a pencil and drawing board of their own. 

 

MBA/MTTM Exam Pattern

  • The Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) will comprise of 100 objective type questions to be answered in 90 minutes consisting of:
    • General Awareness
    • English Verbal Ability and Comprehension
    • Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
    • Quantave Aptude
  • Marking Pattern: Each question will be of 2 marks and Zero mark will be awarded for each wrong or unexempted quezon.

 

BPEd. Exam Pattern

    • The entrance test will comprise of 100 multiple choice questions to be answered in 90 minutes. Final merit will be out of 200 marks details of which are given below.
      • Written Test – 100 Marks
      • Physical Fitness Test (4.8.2.2.1) – 50 Marks
  • Physical Fitness Test
    • Shule Run 4 x10 yards – 10 Marks
    • 50 yards Run – 10 Marks
    • Sit ups (One minute) – 10 Marks
    • 600 yards Run – 10 Marks
    • Standing Broad Jump – 10 Marks
  • Game Proficiency Test – 40 Marks
  • Games proficiency test in the concerned game will be evaluated by a board of experts in the following games.

MPEd.  Exam Pattern

  • The entrance test will comprise of 100 multiple choice questions to be answered in 90 minutes. Final merit will be out of 200 marks details of which are given below.
  • Written Test – 100 Marks
  • Physical Fitness Test (4.5.1.2.1) – 50 Marks
  • Game Proficiency (4.5.1.2.2) – 30 Marks
  • Marks obtained in B.P.Ed. – 10 Marks
  • Interview – 10 Marks

 

MEd. Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam: Offline Mode
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type
  • Test Duration: 3 Hours
  • The written test will be of three hours and would comprise of the following
  •  Mental Ability Test (Multiple Choice) : 100 Marks
  •  Subject Competence test (Multiple Choice) : 80 Marks
  • Subject Competence Test (Short Answer) : 20 Marks
  • Language Comprehension (Hindi) Test : 25 Marks

  • The entrance test will comprise of 100 objective type questions to be answered in 90 minutes.
