Kachchh University M.Phil Admission 2019 – The KSKV Kachchh University invites Application in prescribed form for the Entrance Examination for M.Phil. Programs in various disciplines for the academic year 2019

Important Dates
- Application Forms will be accepted on all working days from 8th to 27th August 2019
- Last Date for receipt of Completed Applications is 27th August 2019
- The Entrance Exam is scheduled on: 1st September 2019 at the University Campus
Eligibility Criteria
- University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulation, 2016 notified in the gazette of India dated 5th May2016 shall be applicable to the M.Phil. Entrance Examination.
- A Candidate holding recognized Master’s Degree or recognized equivalent to Master Degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SEBC/SC/ST Candidates) or equivalent grades is eligible for entrance exam for M.Phil.
- The students who have cleared UGC /CSIR (JRF) Examinations/ NET/SET/SLET, ICMR-JRF or equivalent national level exam/fellowship, teacher fellowship holder, foreign students, NRI students are exempted from the M.Phil. entrance test.
- However, it is mandatory for them to apply for M.Phil. program in the prescribed form available from the University latest by 27th August 2019.

Reservation Seats
- Central and state government rules will be applicable for reservation policy. if, reserved seats are vacant than they will be transferred to general category students.
- The 90% seats shall be reserved for students of Kachchh University, 8% seats shall be reserved for students of other universities of state and 2% seats shall be reserved for student of universities outside the state.
Exam Pattern
- There will be two papers: Syllabus is as per NET/SLET.
Paper I
- Research Methodology Test: This paper will have 25 questions with multiple choice(It will be common for all subjects)(Examination time: 45 Minutes) (Examination Time 11:00am to 11:45am)
Paper II
- Subject Specific Test: This paper will have 25 questions with multiple choice questions(Examination time: 45 Minutes) (Examination Time 12:15pm to 1:00pm).
- The Entrance Test will be qualifying with qualifying marks as 50% -50% in each paper.
- There will be no negative marking system in Entrance Test.
- A merit list of the successful candidates will be declared by the university. The result will be made available online on the university website.
- Passing the entrance exam does not give guarantee to a student to be registered for M.Phil. Program.
Application Procedure
- The Application forms will be accepted on all working days from 8th August 2019 to 27th August 2019 during 11:00 am to 2:00 pm & 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm. The entrance examination is scheduled on 1st September 2019 at the University campus.

- A Demand Draft of Rs.500/- drawn in favor of “The Registrar KSKV Kachchh University must be attached with the prescribed form if it is downloaded from the University Website. The form is also made available at the academic section (Room no. 106) on working days by payment of Rs.500/-
- Application forms are also available on above website http://kskvku.ac.in. The syllabus will be as per the UGC/NET.
