Eligibility Criteria for Indira Gandhi University Admission 2021
- For UG Courses : Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) with at least 50% (47.5% for SC/ST/ Blind/ Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only) marks in aggregate from Board of School Education, Haryana, Bhiwani or any other examination recognized by Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur as equivalent thereto.
- Passed 10+2 examination in Science stream (PCM / PCB) with English from CBSE / HBSE or any other recognized board with minimum 50% aggregate.
- For PG Courses : Bachelor degree/Shastri examination (New Scheme) of three year duration with at least 50% marks (47.5% for SC/ST/ Blind/ Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only) in aggregate or any other examination recognized by Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur as equivalent thereto.
- Passed Bachelor’s degree in Science stream (PCM / PCB) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized University.

Indira Gandhi University Admission 2021 Application Process
- Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website https://igu.ac.in/
- A candidate can apply for admission to as many numbers of courses as he/she desires. Separate application forms for admission in each course shall be filled after paying a separate fee for each.
- The scanned copies of original certificates/testimonials of all the examinations passed by the candidate from 10th Standard onwards/other relevant documents and latest Character Certificate should be uploaded with the online application form.
- The candidates desirous to seek admission are required to apply online. Only those applicants, who apply online before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria, will be considered for admission.
- Before filling the application form, the students are advised to download the Information Brochure 2021-22 and read it carefully.

- For SC/BC of Haryana only : Rs. 250/-

Admission Procedure
- The following procedure shall be followed for selection of the candidates for admission to various programs/courses:
- Mere possession of the prescribed academic qualifications does not entitle a candidate for admission to the course. Candidates would be required to fulfill all the conditions as spelt out in the Information Brochure.
- Merit list of all the eligible candidates shall be prepared as per criteria given in the Information Brochure and shall be displayed on the website of the University.
