About IGNTU

  • The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak has been established by an Act of the Parliament of India, the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007. The University started functioning from July 2008

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Culinary Institute BBA Culinary Art Admission 2019

  • A pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Exam Or its equivalent from a recognized Board/Council With a minimum of 50% in case of General & OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC/ST candidates
  • Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent exam can also appear in Entrance Exam 2019 on provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying exam (10+2 or its equivalent) scoring the required percentage of marks is not submitted at the time of admission or latest by 30th September 2019
  • Qualifying Exams (10+2) Level for Indian Students (with a minimum of 50% in case of General And OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC/ST candidates)
  • Plus two level exam in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central/State Board, such as CBSE and CISCE or SBSE
  • Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Exam Conducted by a recognized Board/ University General Certificate Education (GCE) Exam (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University
  • Any Public School/Board/University Exams India or in a foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education
  • H.S.C. Vocational Exam Approved by NCVT and SCVT of concerned state

 

Age Limit

  • For candidates from General and OBC categories, upper age limit is 22 years as on 01st August 2019
  • Candidates born on or after 01st August 1997 are eligible. In the case of SC/ST candidates, upper age limit is 27 years as on 01st August 2019
  • That is SC/ST candidates born on or after 01st August 1992 are eligible
  • Upper age limit for Physically Challenged Candidates shall be reckoned as per the category he/she belongs to i.e. General/SC/ST/OBC
  • Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/Pre-University Certificate shall be the authentic proof that will be accepted
  • At the time of counseling, this certificate must be produced in original as a proof of age, failing which the candidate will not be considered for counseling/admission

 

Physical Fitness

  • All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate at the time of admission from a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format given at Annexure-1

 

Reservation of Seats

  • As per Govt. of India rules candidates belonging to certain categories are admitted to seats reserved for them
  • Benefit of reservation shall be given only to those classes/castes/tribes which are in the respective Central List published by the Government of India
  • 5% of seats across the board are reserved for Physically Disabled candidates
  • For any category of disability (viz. loco motor, visual, dyslexia, speech, and /or hearing) benefit would be given to those who have at least 40%physical impairment, subject to condition that the candidate is able to perform the kitchen practical without any third person support

  • Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude – 15 No. of Questions
  • Reasoning and Logical Deduction – 15 No. of Questions
  • General Knowledge & Current Affairs – 15No. of Questions
  • English Language – 15No. of Questions
  • Aptitude for Service Sector – 40 No. of Questions
  • Total – 100No. of Questions
  • Duration of the Test – 02.00 Hrs.
  • Question Paper will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi (except for English Language)

 

Marking Scheme for (Entrance Exam) Written Test

  • Each correct answer under Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning & Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs and English Language components carry one mark
  • There is no negative mark

  • Applicants should choose any one Test Centre from the following 7 Test Centres for appearing in the Written Exam and indicate the same in the Entrance Exam Application Form in the appropriate column
