IIT Jodhpur MBA Admission – Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur has announced admission to MBA Program offered at its new School of Management & Entrepreneurship for the academic session 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

    • Valid score in the Common Admissions Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management.
    • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an Act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
    • A minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or 6.00 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent in the qualifying degree. A relaxation of 5% in marks (i.e. minimum of 55%) or equivalent in CGPA (i.e. min. 5.50 on a 10-point scale) for the SC/ST/PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates.
    • Final year students (of the above mentioned program) are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, on the condition that they meet all requirements for the qualifying degree before the start of the program and will produce a provisional certificate of completion within two months of joining the program.
  • For International Applicants : Valid GRE/GMAT Score
  • Graduates (or professional qualification equivalent to that of a University degree recognized by the UGC) in any discipline with first class or 60% marks earned in their degree from a recognized/reputed University.
  • Final year students (of the above mentioned program) are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, on the condition that they meet all requirements for the qualifying degree before the start of the program and will produce a provisional certificate of completion within two months of joining the program.

 

Application Process

  • After taking the CAT 2022 examination, candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme must complete the following procedure:
  • Step 1 : Complete the online application form available at IIT Jodhpur and SME’s website. The application form must be completed in all respects. Any incomplete form will automatically be rejected from further consideration.
  • Step 2 : While submitting the online application form, make a payment for A non-refundable application fee of INR 1000/- for Unreserved, OBC-NCL & EWS category and INR 500/- for the SC/ST/PwD category will be charged.

Admission Process

  • The admission process involves two steps:

 Initial Shortlisting

  • COMPOSITE SCORE will be calculated with due weights to
  • CAT Overall Scaled Score
  • Work Experience
  • Gender Diversity
  • Applicants will be shortlisted based on the composite score. Relaxation for all categories according to the norms of the Ministry of Education, Government of India will be followed when determining the cut-offs.

Final Selection

  • Candidates from all categories shortlisted based on the composite score shall be called for a Personal Interview through the virtual mode.
