Important Dates

  • Application opens: December 01, 2022
  • Application Deadline: January 25, 2023
  • Written Test (online): February 25, 2023
  • Interviews (offline): March 18-19, 2023

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • The minimum criterion to apply is a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent CPI/GPA).
  • Meeting the minimum application criterion will not guarantee admission to the program. The students who are awaiting final semester/year results and those who would be completing a Bachelor’s degree in the current year are also eligible to apply.

  • Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website https://iitgn.ac.in/admissions/ma
  • The candidates desirous to seek admission are required to apply online. Only those applicants, who apply online before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria, will be considered for admission.
  • Incomplete applications will be rejected.

 

Application Fee

  • For SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 150/-
  • For All Others: Rs. 300/-

 

Selection Procedure

  • Admission to MA Program is offered on the basis of entrance test and interview. The Institute will invite a limited number of candidates for a written test and interview based on the academic records and aptitude for graduate study in the humanities and social sciences.
