About ICFAI University (Baddi)
- The ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh, (Baddi) has been established under the provision of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University (Establishment and Regulation) Act 2011 passed by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh on June 17, 2011. The University is sponsored by The ICFAI Society – a not-for-profit educational society established in 1984.
- The University offers career-oriented educational programs at Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral levels in Management, Commerce, Law, Information Technology and Science & Technology.

Eligibility Criteria
For UG Course :
- B.Tech : Pass in Class XII or its equivalent with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as subjects, along with JEE (Main) 2024 or HPCET 2024 score.
- B.Tech (Lateral Entry) : Pass in 3-year Diploma in Engineering in respective discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- B.Pharmacy : An Applicant should have passed the 10+2 examination with an aggregate of 50% and above marks conducted by the respective State/ Central Government Authorities with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) or Biology (PCB / PCMB) as optional subjects.
- B.Pharmacy (LE) : The Candidates should have a Diploma in the Pharmacy Course from any Institution as approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
- BA / BBA /BCom / BCA / BA LLB/BBA LLB: Pass in Class XII (or equivalent), in any discipline with aggregate 45% and above marks.
- BSc (Non-Medical) : An Applicant should have passed Class XII with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) having an aggregate of 50% or higher marks. The Class XII Students awaiting the results are also eligible to apply.
- BSc (Medical) : Pass in Class XII with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), with aggregate 50% and above marks.
- BSc (IT) : An Applicant should have passed Class XII with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) having an aggregate of 50% or higher marks. The Class XII Students awaiting the results are also eligible to apply.
- LLB : An Applicant should be graduate in any discipline with an aggregate of 45% or higher marks. Students awaiting the results of their final year Examinations are also eligible to apply.
For PG Course
- MBA : An Applicant should have passed the graduation in any discipline with 50% and above aggregate marks along with having qualified the CMAT or having any other eligibility criteria to his/her credit as prescribed by the Regulatory Bodies. The Students awaiting the final year Examination results are also eligible to apply.
- M.Com : An Applicant should have passed in Graduation in Commerce with 50% and above aggregate marks. The Students awaiting the final year Examination results are also eligible to apply.
- MSc Physics : An Applicant should have passed B.Sc. (Non-Medical), with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent CGPA.
- MSc Chemistry : An Applicant should have passed B.Sc. (Medical/Non-Medical) with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent CGPA.
- MSc Mathematics : An Applicant should have passed B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.A with mathematics, with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent CGPA.
- M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry : An Applicant should have passed B.Sc. (Medical / Non-Medical) / B.Pharmacy graduates with an aggregate of 50% or more marks from a College or a University as recognized by the UGC/an Affiliating Authority with Chemistry as one of the compulsory subjects.
- Eligibility for B.Pharmacy Graduates: To be eligible for admission to the M.Sc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry, an Applicant should have passed the B. Pharmacy Examination from a recognized University/College or an Institution as approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
- LLM : Pass the Three or Five-years LL.B. Degree from any Indian or Foreign University recognized by the UGC with at least 50% Marks or Equivalent Grade (45% for SC/ST Candidates).
For PhD Course :
- Masters Degree in related subjects with 55% marks or equivalent grade/ CGPA or equivalent qualification as recognized by the University or with 50% marks for those belonging to the SC/ST Category.
- The Applicants who have qualified the UGC- NET / SLET /CSIR- NET Examination or as prescribed by the UGC/the concerned Regulatory Bodies shall be exempted from the Entrance Test.

- Candidates can apply online and offline in mode both.
Online Application
- Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at www.iuhimachal.edu.in and make payment of Rs 500 towards online Registration charges by using Credit / Debit Card (Visa / MasterCard/ Citibank Card) or Internet banking option using secure internet payment gateway. Applicants applying online should attach their scanned colour photograph along with the Online Application. The Prospectus will be sent to such applicants.
Offline Application
- Applicants can download the Application Form through official website www.iuhimachal.edu and send it to the Admissions Office along with the Demand Draft of ₹500 drawn in favour of “The ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh – Fee Collection A/c” payable at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
