Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) Goa announces Admission to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Program 2021
DHE Goa B.Ed Admission 2021 – Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Goa has released the notification for admission to the B.Ed. Degree Program for the Academic Year 2021, at Nirmala Institute of Education, Panaji GVM College of Education – Ponda & PES College of Education, Ponda, Goa.
The three institutes shall be the coordinating units for the Common Admission Procedure. Only those aspiring students with a valid rank at the GU-ART held in March, 2021 conducted by Goa University may apply for B.Ed. admissions
DHE Goa B.Ed Admission 2021 Important Dates
- Submission of Online Admission Form: 27th Apr to 19th May 2021
- Last Date for Online Payment of Rs.300/- towards Prospectus Charges: 17th May 2021
- Last Date for Submission for Online Admission Form: 19th May 2021
- Submission of Print Copy of Admission Form by Speed Post or Registered: 27th April to 24th May 2021
- Display of Eligibility List/Provisional merit list: 31st May 2021
- Objections to Provisional merit list/Redressal of grievances: 02nd June 2021
- Display of Final Merit List (subject-wise): 04th June 2021
- Counseling and Admissions: To be announced
Eligibility Criteria for DHE Goa B.Ed Admission 2021
- The applicant shall be a citizen of India.
- A candidate for the Bachelor of Education Program must have passed a Bachelor/Postgraduate Degree Exam of Goa University or an equivalent degree from any other statutory University recognized as equivalent thereto, with a minimum of 50% marks (5% relaxation is given to candidates from the SC/ST/OBC categories)
- Further, the candidates should have taken at least one of the school subjects at his graduation/post graduation for which training is offered in the institution.
Application Procedure
- Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Goa, will publish a Common Admission Procedure for The B.Ed Programme for the Academic Year 2021.
- DHE Goa B.Ed 2021 Application Form has been released on 6th May 2021.
- Only those aspiring students with a valid ranking at the GU-ART conducted by Goa University may apply for B.Ed. admissions.
- Applicants are invited to complete and submit an Online Application Form. After submitting the online Application Form, an automatic email is sent to the e-mail address given by the candidates.
- The print out of this email will be taken and along with all the other requirements and Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of India only will have to be presented to the office of the Director of Higher Education, SCERT Building, Porvorim Goa.

Application Fee
- Demand Draft – Rs.300/- drawn on State Bank of India for the benefit of Director of Higher Education, Porvorim – Goa
Admission Procedure
- Only those applicants who have applied in response to the prospectus of 2021-22 and submitted their applications duly completed in all respects online on or before the last date and time and satisfy the eligibility criteria will be considered for admission to the B.Ed. program strictly in order of merit.
a) The Admission procedure shall be online.
b) The Counselling schedule will be displayed on the DHE website.
c) The provisional and final merit lists will be displayed on the DHE website.
d) The Chairperson of the Admission Committee reserves the right to modify the schedule of admission if required.
Counseling
- Counseling will be done after the successful completion of the exam.
- Candidate attends the counseling along with documents in original such as Residence Certificate, Reserved Category certificate as well as the Graduation/Post Graduation Certificate
- Admission will not be confirmed if any of the certificates mentioned above do not tally with the information entered by the candidates in his/her application form.
