CMC Vellore BSc Nursing Admission 2024  – Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore invites applications for admission to 4-years B.Sc. Nursing Program offered at College of Nursing CMC Vellore Chittoor Campus for the academic Session 2024. All candidates applying for BSc Nursing in CMC Vellore Chittoor campus also have to apply for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (APEAPCET) 2024 conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE).

Eligibility Criteria for CMC Vellore B.Sc. Nursing Admission 2024

  • Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or persons of Indian origin. Overseas citizens of India (OCI) cardholders should satisfy their local/ non-local status in Andhra Pradesh (residence requirement). Refer Annexure X. Candidates with Science should have passed the qualifying 12th Std examination (10+2) from any recognized board (AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/ HSCE)
  • Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the qualifying examination (10 +2) and passed in English individually. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission
  • There is 5% relaxation in the marks requirement for all the SC/ST candidates. Only women candidates are eligible to apply. All candidates have to qualify APEAPCET 2024.
  • For candidates who have studied abroad, the equivalency of qualification as determined by the Association of Indian Universities will form the guidelines to determine the eligibility. Please note that these are only guidelines and candidates who have qualified overseas must get in touch with the Dr YSR University of Health Sciences (see website drysruhs.edu.in for details).

 

 

Application Process

  • Candidates are required to apply online through the website http://admissions.cmcvellore.ac.in
  • The last date for online application submission, with payment of application fee along with supporting documents.
  • Where relevant, photocopy of SC/ST certificate and its attested English translation must be sent. Scanned copies of documents may be sent as email attachments to [email protected] and subsequently, after the Lock down period is over, the hard copies may be sent by speed post /courier.

 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION FORM:

  • Please read the instructions carefully before filling the form.
  • Fill the form online, check the details for accuracy and then submit.
  • Upload your photograph and signature.
  • Make your PAYMENT by any one of the methods mentioned above.
  • Take a print out of the completed application form and the application confirmation page for your reference.
  • (Do not send a hard copy of your application form to the Registrar’s Office.)
  • Send the original ICICI challan if payment is made through challan mode and all the other required ENCLOSURES where applicable, to the Office of the Registrar, CMC, Vellore 632002 to reach not later than the last dates specified.
  • An email and SMS stating successful registration of the application will be sent to the candidates within a week of final submission of the application. If not received, please check with the Registrar’s office by emailing to [email protected], quoting your Temporary Login ID number.

 

Application Fee

  • Application Fee :- Rs.800/- plus a registration fee of Rs.500/-
  • Mode of Payment :- Online payment using Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking

 

Selection Process

  • The selection process / admission will be subject to any orders passed or that may be passed by the Government / University / Professional Councils.
  • THE DECISION OF THE SELECTION COMMITTEE FOR THE MANAGEMENT QUOTA IS FINAL.
  • Selections for both Management and Competent Authority Quota are based on APEAPCET 2024.   • Management Quota
  • For the 2024 admissions, candidates who fulfil the following criteria will be considered under the Management Quota:
  • – Candidates who have qualified AP EAPCET– 2024
  • – Candidates who have applied to Christian Medical College, Vellore for BSc Nursing Chittoor campus

Competent Authority Quota

  • Students applying through Competent Authority Quota will be registered for the BSc Nursing programme through the counselling process conducted by the YSR University.
  • Registration to the Programme is subject to medical clearance, submitting all necessary original certificates, and also the eligibility guidelines stipulated by the University/statutory Professional bodies

 

 

 

Hall Tickets

  • Hall Tickets will be available for download 1 week before the examination at the CMC Vellore website https://admissions.cmcvellore.ac.in/.
  • If a candidate is unable to download the Hall Ticket from the website, they are advised to inform the registrar immediately, giving the candidate’s name, application number, date of birth & full address by sending an email to [email protected] or by telephone (416 – 228 4255 / 228 4495).
  •  Hall ticket number and address of the centre will be intimated if the candidate’s application is complete in all aspects.

 

Exam Pattern

Step-1 Computer Based Test

  • Mode of Exam : Online mode
  • Language : English
  • Type of exam : There will be a Computer Based Test for all the Group A & B Courses except MBBS.
  • Group A : Group A degree courses other than MBBS will consist of tests on Physics, Chemistry & Biology followed by Aptitude Assessment.
  • Group B : Group B diploma courses with Science paper will have multiple choice questions in Physics, Chemistry & Biology, in addition to General Ability with emphasis on Speed and Accuracy, and a few questions on issues of current topical interest.
  • Test Center : Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Calicut, Chennai, Delhi, Ernakulam, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kottayam, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagercoil, Puducherry, Salem, Thiruvananthapuram, Vellore & Vijayawada

 

Step-2 Special Tests & Interviews

  • Special tests and Interviews for selection to the BSc Nursing course CMC Vellore, Chittoor campus will be held at Chittoor as per the schedule.
