Calicut University M.Sc Forensic Science Admission 2019 – Directorate of Admission, University of Calicut, has invited applications for admission to the M.Sc. Forensic Science Programme under the regular stream for the academic year 2019-20 to be held at Kerala Policy Academic, Thrissur (KEPA)

Eligibility Criteria for Calicut University M.Sc Forensic Science Admission 2019

  • Those students who possess B.Sc. Degree in Forensic Science/ B.Voc. Forensic Science/B.Voc. Applied Microbiology & Forensic Science / B.Sc. Zoology/ B.Sc. Botany/ B.Sc. Chemistry/ B.Sc. Physics/B.Sc. Microbiology/ B.Sc. Medical Microbiology/ B.Sc. Biochemistry/ B.Sc. Medical Biochemistry/ B.Sc. Biotechnology/B.Sc. Genetics/ B.Tech B.Tech Computer Science/ B.Tech Information Technology / BCA/ B.Sc. Computer Science/ B.Sc. Information Technology with at least 60% marks or equivalent grades of this University or equivalent or recognized
  • OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

 

Selection Process

  • Admission will be based on an entrance test conducted by the University. The cut-off marks for the entrance examination for M.Sc. Forensic Science programme shall be 50% for General category, 45% for OBC/OEC, and 40% for SC-ST categories

Application Procedure for Calicut University M.Sc Forensic Science Admission 2019

  • Applications can be submitted online from 01st August 2019 to 14th August 2019, 05.00 pm. Fee payment can be done upto 13th August 2019 only.
  • Please see the link ‘Fee Remittance’ in the Admission Website (www.cuonline.ac.in) or the link ‘Instant Web Payment System (CUIWPS)’ in the Official Website of the University www.uoc.ac.in for remitting fee
  • The application and entrance examination fee of Rs.370/- (SC/ST – Rs.160/-) shall be remitted to Calicut University Fund (Select the purpose ‘ PGFORENSIC19 – Application and Entrance Exam Fee for M.Sc Forensic Science 2019’) by e-payment (SBI online/SBI e-chalan /Friends/Akshaya e-chalan)
  • Online application shall be completed using the CAP ID and Security Key received after payment of the application fees
  • The printout of the Online application and challan/payment slips need not be sent to the University, but candidates are directed to keep the same with themselves and shall submit it if he/she gets admission
  • Candidates should go through the Prospectus for admission to M.Sc Forensic Science Programme available in the website www.cuonline.ac.in carefully, before entering the registration page.
  • Application fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.
