Program Details

  • The 2-Year B. Ed/M.Ed Program in affiliated Colleges/DIET of Bodoland University is recognized by the NCTE and is offered by the NCTE recognized Secondary Teacher Education Institutions affiliated to/recognized by Bodoland University.
  • Duration of the Program: Two Years (Four Semesters)
  • Name of Exam: Bodoland University B.Ed. /M.Ed. Common Entrance Test (BUCET 2023)

 

Important Dates

  • Starting date of submission of online application: 25th June 2023
  • Last date for submission of the online Application: 20th July 2023
  • Date of the B.Ed. CET, 2023: 30th July 2023
  • Date for Declaration of the Result: By 04th August 2023

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Candidate must be with at least 50% marks (in Aggregate) in the Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university.
  • Entrance Test: Candidates must clear the Common Entrance Test conducted by Bodoland University for the academic session, 2023-24.
  • Relaxation: In the eligibility criteria, a relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks shall be provided to the candidates belonging to the ST & SC categories.

 

Application Procedure

  • Interested and eligible candidates can submit their online application; provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria as specified by the university www.buniv.edu.in. Here are the basic steps one needs to follow to submit the online application.
  • Step 1: Scroll down, check the Important Web-Links section.
  • Step 2: Click Online Application Form Link.
  • Step 3: Enter all personal and educational information as required.
  • Step 4: Pay application fee as per your category and submit the form.
  • Step 5: Also, take a print of the submitted form. 

Documents/ Materials to be uploaded

  1. One coloured passport size photograph of the candidate.
  2. Signature of the Candidate.
  3. Final Year Grade Sheet
  4. H.S.L.C. Admit card
  5. Caste/NCL/EWS Certificate

 

Application Fee

  • The applicant shall have to pay the B.Ed. CET Fee of Rs.700/- only through the online payment gateway by using Debit (ATM) Card/Credit Card/ Internet Banking during the submission of form.
  • No other mode of payment is acceptable.

 

Selection Criteria

  • Selection for admission into the B.Ed./M.Ed Programme in any institution under Bodoland University will be based on the following:
  • A CET to be conducted centrally, which will carry a maximum of 100 marks
  • Followed by Common Admission Counseling to be conducted by Bodoland University

 

BUCET Entrance Exam

  • Name of Exam: Bodoland University Common Entrance Test (BUCET) 2023
  • Date of Exam: 30th July 2023
  • Exam Duration: 2 hours (11:00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.)
  • Type of Question: OMR based
  • Maximum Marks: 100 marks

 

B.Ed. CET Syllabus

  • The Entrance Test shall carry a total of 100 marks consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) on the following areas:
