Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS Rishikesh PDCC and Fellowship Admission 2021

  • Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible.

Educational Qualifications

  • Must possess, as of 31th December, a requisite qualification recognized by the MCI (except for degrees not covered by MCI, where degrees must be recognized by respective bodies that approve qualifying courses).
  • Postgraduate degrees from Dept./Institutions to which MCI recognition has not been formally granted will not be considered and the candidature of applicants with such degrees may be rejected at any stage (including after admission if this fact comes to notice at that stage).

Age Limit

  • Upper age limit for eligibility of senior residents for PDC/Fellowship courses is 35 years as reckoned on 30th June (for July session) and 31st December (for January session)
  • Age relaxation to a maximum of 3 years may be given to OBC, 5 years SC/ST, widowed/divorced / legally-separated women who have not re-married, and to disabled/handicapped persons, as per Govt. rules.

Post-Doctoral Certificate Courses

  • Critical Care Medicine, Cardiac Anaesthesia, Neuro-anaesthesia, Interventional Pain Medicine, Onco- Anaesthesia, Paediatric Anaesthesia: MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology
  • Advanced Echocardiography: MD/DNB in Medicine or Pediatrics or Critical Care Medicine or Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
  • Advanced Echocardiography: MD/DNB in Medicine or Pediatrics or Critical Care Medicine or Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
  • Geriatrics Medicine, Community Diabetology: MD/DNB in Medicine.
  • Gastro-radiology, Vascular Radiology, Breast Imaging: MD/DNB in Radiology or Radio-diagnosis.
  • Cross Body Sectional Imaging: MD in Radiodiagnosis.
  • Haemato-Oncology: MD/DNB (Medicine/Paediatrics).
  • Paediatrics Gastroenterology: MD/DNB (Paediatrics).
  • Oncopathology: MD/DNB (Pathology)
  • High Altitude Medicine: MD/DNB (Physiology, Medicine, Pathology, Anaesthesiology & Critical Care Medicine, Community Medicine, General Surgery)/PG Diploma in Emergency Medicine/Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.
  • Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstruction: MD/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or M.Ch./DNB in Urology.

Fellowship Courses

  • Cardiac Imaging: MD in Medicine/Radiology/Nuclear Medicine or DM in Cardiology.
  • Diabetology: MD/DNB (Medicine)
  • Trauma Rehabilitation: MD/DNB/Diploma in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
  • Clinical Infectious Disease: MD/DNB (Medicine), DM (Infectious Disease), PDCC (Infectious Disease), and 1-year clinical infectious experience or 5 years experience with MBBS in specialty hospitals

AIIMS Rishikesh PDCC and Fellowship Admission 2021 Application Process

  • Application form for AIIMS PDCC & Fellowship Entrance Exam July 2021 Session entrance exam is available on the official website
  • Candidates can fill only one application form. It is mandatory to have a valid email id and phone number before applying for the exam as future communication is done through SMS or e-mail

Application Fee

  • General / OBC Category – Rs.1500/- + Transaction Charges as applicable
  • SC/ST Category – Rs. 1200/- + Transaction Charges as applicable
  • OPH Candidates – Exempted from any fee
  • Mode of Payment: Through Debit/Credit card/Net Banking

Selection Process

  • Selections for PDC/Fellowship courses are made through written examination & interview

Entrance Exam Pattern

  • Stage I: Written test carrying 80 marks of 90 minutes duration in subject candidate has applied for. The question paper will consist of 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Stage II: Out of candidates who have secured 50 percentile or more marks in written test (Stage-I), candidates 3 times the number of seats advertised will be called
  • Final Selection: The final result will be declared based on total marks obtained in Stage-I/II Exam
  • Percentile Score: Percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all those who appear for exam
