Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS Rishikesh PDCC and Fellowship Programs 2020

Nationality Only Indian nationals are eligible.
Educational Qualifications  
  • Candidates must possess, as on 31th December 2020, a requisite qualification recognised by the Medical Council of India (except for degrees not covered by Medical Council of India, where degrees must be recognised by respective bodies that approve qualifying courses).
  • Postgraduate degrees from Departments / Institutions to which MCI recognition has not been formally granted (for example: under consideration) will not be considered and candidature of applicants with such degrees may be rejected at any stage (including after admission if this fact comes to notice at that stage).

Age Limit

  • Upper age limit for eligibility of senior residents for PDC/Fellowship courses is 35 years as reckoned on 30th June (for July session) and 31st December (for January session)
  • Age relaxation to a maximum of 3 years may be given to OBC, 5 years SC/ST, widowed / divorced / legally-separated women who have not re-married, and to disabled/handicapped persons, as per Government rules.



i. There is no reservation in PDC/Fellowship program
ii. Candidates will be considered against vacancy of senior residents in respective departments
iii. Reservation will be as per govt. of India rules for Senior Residents.


AIIMS Rishikesh PDCC and Fellowship Programs 2020 Application Process

  • Application form for AIIMS Fellowship 2020 entrance exam is available on the official website aiimsexams.org
  • Candidates can fill only one application form
  • It is mandatory to have a valid email id and phone number before applying for the exam as future communication is done through SMS or e-mail

Step 1 Click on the application form direct link provided on this page after the release of the application form.
Step 2 On the homepage, click on the “new registration” button as shown in image below.
Step 3 Then, provide details such as name, parent’s name, education qualification, experience details and so on.
Step 4 Moving forward, candidates have to attach the scanned image of passport size photo, signature and thumb impression.
Step 5 Thereafter, make the payment of the application form through online mode.


Application Fee

The cost of application fee includes fee for entrance exam which is non-refundable
General / OBC Category Rs.1500/- + Transaction Charges as applicable
SC/ST Category Rs. 1200/- + Transaction Charges as applicable
OPH Candidates Exempted from any fee
Mode of Payment Candidates can make the payment of the application fee through Debit/Credit card/Net Banking


Entrance Exam Pattern

Selections for PDC/Fellowship courses are made through written examination & interview.
Stage I Written test carrying 80 marks of 90 minutes duration in subject candidate has applied for. Question paper will consist of 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Stage II Out of candidates who have secured 50 percentile or more marks in written test (Stage-I), candidates 3 times the number of seats advertised will be called (on discretion of competent authority/ selection panel) for departmental clinical/practical/lab based assessment (carrying 20 marks).
Final Selection Final result will be declared based on total marks obtained in stage-I and Stage-II Exam
I) Result of written examination will be available on the website of AIIMS Rishikesh. No individual intimation will be communicated to candidates.
II) Candidates who fail to attend any of two stages mentioned above will not be eligible for admission.
III) Last date for admission PDCC/Fellowship Course will be 31.08.2020
Percentile Score Percentile scores are scores based on relative performance of all those who appear for examination Basically marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each group of examinees
