Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS Rishikesh PDCC and Fellowship Admission 2021

Nationality

Only Indian nationals are eligible.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess, as of 31th December 2021, a requisite qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India (except for degrees not covered by Medical Council of India, where degrees must be recognized by respective bodies that approve qualifying courses).

Postgraduate degrees from Departments / Institutions to which MCI recognition has not been formally granted (for example: under consideration) will not be considered and the candidature of applicants with such degrees may be rejected at any stage (including after admission if this fact comes to notice at that stage).

Age Limit

Upper age limit for eligibility of senior residents for PDC/Fellowship courses is 35 years as reckoned on 30th June (for July session) and 31st December (for January session)

Age relaxation to a maximum of 3 years may be given to OBC, 5 years SC/ST, widowed/divorced / legally-separated women who have not re-married, and to disabled/handicapped persons, as per Government rules.

AIIMS Rishikesh PDCC and Fellowship Admission 2021 Application Process

  • The application form for AIIMS PDCC & Fellowship Entrance Exam, January 2021 Session entrance exam is available on the official website  https://aiimsrishikesh.edu.in/
  • Candidates can fill only one application form. It is mandatory to have a valid email id and phone number before applying for the exam as future communication is done through SMS or e-mail

Candidates can check the steps to fill the application form from below :

Step 1

Click on the application form direct link provided on this page after the release of the application form.

Step 2

On the homepage, click on the “new registration” button as shown in image below.

Step 3

Then, provide details such as name, parent’s name, education qualification, experience details, and so on.

Step 4

Moving forward, candidates have to attach the scanned image of passport size photo, signature, and thumb impression.

Step 5

Thereafter, make the payment of the application form through online mode.

For General / OBC Category

Rs.1500/- + Transaction Charges as applicable

For SC/ST Category

Rs. 1200/- + Transaction Charges as applicable

For OPH Candidates

Exempted from any fee

Mode of Payment

Candidates can make the payment of the application fee through Debit/Credit card/Net Banking

Selection Process

  • Selections for PDC/Fellowship courses are made through written examination & interview.

Entrance Exam Pattern

Stage I

Written test carrying 80 marks of 90 minutes duration in subject candidate has applied for. The question paper will consist of 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Stage II

Out of candidates who have secured 50 percentile or more marks in written test (Stage-I), candidates 3 times the number of seats advertised will be called (on the discretion of competent authority/ selection panel) for departmental clinical/practical/lab based assessment (carrying 20 marks).

Final Selection

The final result will be declared based on total marks obtained in stage-I and Stage-II Exam

Percentile Score

Percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all those who appear for examination Basically marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each group of examinees.

Result

  • The result of the written examination will be available on the website of AIIMS Rishikesh. No individual intimation will be communicated to candidates.
