CEE Kerala M.Pharma Admission 2018 – Dates, Application


Allotment/Admission to Post Graduate Course in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) 2018-19

CEE Kerala M.Pharma Admission 2018 - Applications are invited from the candidates who have qualified in the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) - 2018, for admission to Post Graduate Course in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) 2018-19 in the Government Pharmacy Colleges and in the Got. Merit Quota Seats in Self Financing Pharmacy Colleges in Kerala


The Director of Medical Education as per the letter read above has submitted draft Prospectus for admission to Post Graduate Courses in Pharmacy (M.Pharm and Pharm D [Post Baccalaureate]) for academic year 2018-19, for approval of Govt.


The Director of Medical Education and Commissioner for Entrance Exams shall take immediate steps for conduct of admission to the aforementioned courses

Important Dates

  • Application Start Date: 08th June 2018

Institutions & Courses

  • Master of Pharmacy (M.PHARM)
  • M. Pharm Course is conducted by the following Govt. and self-financing institutions. The number of seats with specialization in self-financing colleges shall be published before the allotment process

Govt. Colleges:

  • College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram
  • College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Government Medical College, Kozhikode

Eligibility Criteria

Academic

  • Candidates who have passed the B.Pharm Degree Examination from any of the Universities in Kerala or from any other Universities recognised by the Kerala University of Health Sciences as equivalent there to from an institution recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and Pharmacy Council of India, with a minimum of 55% marks for all the three years of B.Pharm Examination (B.Pharm-II, III, IV year) taken together, will be eligible
  • For candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, a minimum of 50% of marks of all for all the three years of B.Pharm Examination (B.Pharm-II, III, IV year) taken together, will be eligible
  • Candidates who have passed their B.Pharm course from Universities outside Kerala will be eligible for admission only if the Kerala University of Health Sciences recognizes their qualifying examination before the last date specified for submission of academic data

Nativity

  • Only Indian Citizens of Kerala origin are eligible for admission to M.Pharm Course

Age Limit

  • There is no upper age limit for general candidates for admission to M. Pharm Course. Service category candidates should have at least five years of service superannuation after the completion of course

Qualifying Criteria

  • All candidates including Service quota candidates seeking admission to Post graduate Pharmacy course (M.Pharm) in the state of Kerala for the academic year 2018-19 shall have to qualify the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT-2018) conducted by AICTE, New Delhi and should figure in the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala
  • In order to eligible for admission to Post Graduate course in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in2018, it shall be necessary for all the candidates including those who apply under Service Quotato obtain a minimum score of 137 (General/OBC) in GPAT-2018. However, in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) 98, Scheduled Tribe (ST) 67 and Persons with Disability (PD), the minimum score is 119

 

Selection Process

  • The selection of the candidates shall be made from the rank list prepared by Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Kerala on the basis of Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2018 and subject to other eligibility conditions approved by government
  • In case of a tie in GPAT score, the candidate with the higher rank in the GPAT merit list will be placed higher. Those who are not qualified in GPAT-2018 are not eligible for admission

 

Application Process

  • All candidates including Service candidates seeking admission to the Post Graduate Pharmacy course (M. Pharm) 2018 can apply in the online application form available from 08th June 2018 to 18th June 2018 in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations
  • Candidates should login with their GPAT-Roll Number and Registration ID. While applying online, candidates should upload all the required documents/certificates as per the instructions given in the Prospectus (clause 9.2.4)
  • No need to send the print out of the application or any supporting documents to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Exam
  • The application forms and Prospectus will not be available directly from any of the Pharmacy Colleges or from the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations

 

Application Fee

  • All candidates including Service candidates shall remit the required fee either by online payment gateway using internet banking/credit card/debit card or by using e-challan payment in any of the Head /Sub Post Office
  • Application Fee for General /Service candidates is Rs.600/- (Rupees Six hundred only) and in the case of SC/ST candidates the application fee is 300/- (Rupees Three hundred only)
  • Candidates may go through the various provisions in the Prospectus for admission to Post Graduate Course in Pharmacy Courses-2018, available on the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Exams www.cee-kerala.org before filling up the Online application forms
