Sandip University PhD Admission – Sandip University invites online application from the eligible candidates for admission to PhD Program offered in various disciplines for the academic session 2023

Duration of the Program
- Ph.D. Programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years for full time and four years for part time, including coursework and a maximum of {(n + 2) + 1*} years, where n is the minimum duration of the Programme.

- Last Date for submission of PhD Application form- online : 09 February 2023 (Thursday)
- Display of shortlisted candidates for SUNPET exam : 11 February 2023 (Saturday)
- SUN-PET Examination in Nashik campus : 04 March 2023 (Saturday)
- Display of list of selected candidates for interview : 08 March 2023 (Wednesday)
- Ph.D Interview : 25 March 2023 (Saturday)
- Display of eligible candidates for Ph.D. admission : 29 March 2023 (Wednesday)
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates for admission to the PhD Program shall have a Master’s degree of a Recognised University with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
- A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (with non-creamy layer)/NT/SBC/PwD.
- Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. Course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed and successfully completing the M.Phil. Degree. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (with non-creamy layer)/NT/SBC/PwD.
- Candidates who have qualified M.Phil. UGC-NET, JRF, UGC-CSIR, SLET, GATE, CAT etc. are exempted from attending the SUNPET.

Selection Process
- The list of all eligible candidates who apply for Ph.D. Programme will be displayed on the Institute website. The eligible candidates will be invited for the Written Test (SUN Ph.D. Entrance Test-SUNPET) at SUN Campus.

- Venue: O-Building, Sandip University Campus, Nashik
- Part-I: Research Methodology, 50 MCQs (50 Marks)
- Part-II: Discipline specific, such as civil engineering, chemistry, law, physics …etc., 50 MCQs (50 Marks)
- Total: 100 Marks
