Character Sketch of Mr Raven
Mr Raven is a raven who is proud and easy-to-flatter. He is easily tricked by the fox. We see that he desperately wants to prove that he is the King of all birds. We also see that he values his image more than his hunger. He forgets that he only croaks and cannot sing. The fox’s false praise affect him and he opens his beak which makes the food fall on the ground.

Character Sketch of Reynard the Fox
Reynard the fox is cunning. He is willing to play any sort of trick on other creatures to get food and other essentials from them. He indulges in making false praise of the raven in order to make it happy so that the fox can grab the food from its beak.
