Helen Keller was blind since childhood. She can feel things by the sense of touch. She identifies her friends by touching their faces. She can also identify expressions on a face and know whether the person is smiling or sad. She is desperate to see and suggests the readers to use all their senses thinking that maybe the next day they would be devoid of them. She advices everyone to do whatever their heart wants to because maybe the next day they would not be capable of doing it.
