Character Sketch of Anand

Anand is a young, imaginative boy who is full of curiosity and energy. He is always busy inventing something new, whether it is a burglar alarm or a time machine. He has a strong interest in science and gadgets and often gets inspired by movies or books. For example, after watching Back to the Future, he becomes obsessed with creating a real time machine. Anand is determined and hardworking,  he spends days collecting parts (sometimes by secretly taking apart household gadgets) and transforming his room into a workshop. However, he can also be careless and messy, often creating noise and chaos in the house. He does not always think about the consequences of his actions and sometimes ignores warnings from his sister and parents. At the same time, Anand is brave and quick-witted. When the thief enters their house, he cleverly tricks him by lying about their father’s room to buy time. He also has a strong belief in himself, he is fully convinced that his time machine worked and that the thief actually travelled to the past. This makes him appear both funny and lovable. Despite his flaws, Anand is a character full of life and creativity, always ready for his next big invention.

Anita is also very cautious and gets scared easily, especially when strange things happen, like hearing noises in the night. But she is not weak, in fact, she shows great bravery when she and Anand are locked in a room by the thief. Instead of panicking, she helps Anand think of a plan and shouts for help. Anita is protective of her brother, even if she gets annoyed with his antics. Her practical nature balances Anand’s wild imagination.
