Answer. Most teachers during Einstein’s time focused on memorizing facts. They saw education as rote learning and memorizing facts and figures. Obviously, a young student will become bored with this type of education, as Einstein did.
It is said that if a fish is judged by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend the rest of its life thinking it is stupid. We all know that Albert Einstein was one of the greatest physicists of all time. Nonetheless, his school grades indicated otherwise. His poor grades can be attributed to the fact that some of his teachers, due to their primitive thinking, failed to recognise his true potential.
To summarize, grades are not the best way to assess someone’s ability. We are not experts in every field. Students today are dealing with the same issue. It is the responsibility of their teachers to understand their students’ special abilities and to bring out their latent talents.
