Eligibility Criteria for VNSGU M.Phil & PhD Admission 2020

For all Faculty except  for Faculty of Medicine and Homeopathy

• Master Degree with at least 55 % for OPEN category and at least 50 % in the case of SC / ST / SEBC / PH category candidate) from this or any other university recognized by the U.G.C.

Note : Chartered Accountants and Company Secretary with Graduation are eligible for admission to Ph. D. in Commerce Faculty

Faculty of Medicine (Only PhD Program)

• The student who has passed M.D./ M.S./ M.Sc. (Medical) Exam from this university or from any university recognized by the M.C.I. will be eligible.

• Also, the student having a post graduate diploma in the Faculty of Medicine and one year professional experience in the concerned subject will be eligible. Also it is noted that, only if the seats remain vacant after the procedure for admission under the 2(a) category stated above, the vacant seat may be alloted to the candidate eligible under 2(b) category stated above. Applicants having non-medical degrees are not eligible.

Choice of Admission Category

Applicant shall choose admission under any one category for which he / she is eligible as mentioned below.

• Qualified only Master Degree category (Eligible for Entrance Exam)

• Qualified JRF/ NET /SLET/ GSLET / GATE / M.Phil. category (Exempted for Entrance Exam)

VNSGU M.Phil & PhD Admission 2020 Application Process

• Candidates need to fill application only through online mode at  www.vnsgu.ac.in

• Candidates should fill the required details carefully in the online application

• Candidates are required to upload the all Semester’s mark sheet of UG/PG Courses, Cast certificate & other certificates like E.W.S., Non-creamy layer certificate in the appropriate place.

• After the final submission of the application, a print of the application should be retained for future use.

Application Fee

The non refundable application Fees for M.Phil. / Ph.D. Program under all categories will be Rs.800 /- only. Student shall have to paid the amount by Debit Card/Credit Card/NET Banking

Selection Procedure

• The selection will be based on the Marks of the Entrance Examination. The details of the Entrance Examination will be released later.
