Eligibility Criteria for Nagaland Polytechnic Admission 2021
- Candidates must ensure their eligibility criteria before filling the application form
- For all streams except FDAP and MOP: Candidates must have passed in class 10th with minimum 45% marks in Maths and Science.
- For FDAP and MOP: Candidates must have passed in class 12th with minimum 40% marks.

- Only eligible candidates can fill the application form on or before the last date. Candidates can fill the application form in offline mode

- 2 passport size photographs (3.5cm/3cm)
- Admit card of HSLC/ HSSLC exam

Admit Card
- Admit cards for the Diploma Entrance Examination 2021 will be released on the official website. Only those candidates will be able to download the admit card who have submitted the filled application form on or before the last date
- Candidates can download the admit card from the official website by using the login credentials. Details like candidate’s roll number, name of the candidate, exam date and timing, exam day instructions, etc are mentioned on the admit card

Reservation Policy
- 15% reservation shall be made for Backward Tribes on the basis of One Tribe One Seat as per merit in the Diploma Entrance Exam
- 10% reservation shall be made for the women candidates.
- 3% special reservation shall be made for Differently abled candidates with valid documents.
- Out of the remaining seats, 90% of seats will be reserved for ST Indigenous of Nagaland and 10% of seats will be reserved for general category against the following courses – Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Fashion Design & Apparel Production
Selection Procedure
- Selection of Candidates is done on the basis of the result of Entrance
- Examination and also incorporating reservation policies of the State
- Naga Indigenous inhabitants of the State shall be accorded first preference for selection. Thereafter, preference shall be accorded to children of non-Naga Indigenous inhabitants of the State, children of non-Naga State Govt. employees, Central Govt./Agency employees serving in the State as per merit in DEE.
